Governor plans to go to a second special session and additional ones until the votes can occur. That $500/day fine adds up then and this should have been the approach from the start. Just wait them out and fine them for not doing their job.TX Senate passed it, but my bad, House is still on lamb..just matter of time.
There is going to be a second special session soon and it will get passed then. Nobody is going to be arrested, frog marched, or even detained. They will all finally come into the chamber and cast their party line vote, both parties will claim victory, and both parties will immediately get back to grift… er fundraising. This is always how it was going to end.TX Senate passed it, but my bad, House is still on lamb..just matter of time.

This.
I don't see the Dems holding out until the new year... which they'd need to do to stop the gerrymandering. Then again, if deep pocketed concerns step in and finance the whole shebang... that might change the equation. Would have to be financed outside of Texas I suspect. Still, they can't lose too many defects or the quorum issue becomes moot.
