Republicans Trying to Start a Civil War in Texas

I must be confused… so up is down and black is white in your world. Am I getting that right? Because the rest of America… we recognize and understand the reality that yes, of course the Constitution established the right to an abortion. We silly folks also recognize that rain comes out of clouds… which must be equally mystifying to you.

But by all means, I’d love to peer into your Bizarro-world of nut jobs. Gimme a link.

You could always "impress" us with your Grok-fu skills and copy/paste a response to a question crafted to elicit a response you like.

No, the constitution didn’t establish a right to an abortion otherwise RvW wouldn’t have been needed nor overturned.

100 % not true.

Not sure why you feel compelled to put forth revisionist history.

Before the Supreme Court's decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization (2022), the constitutional right to an abortion was established by Roe v. Wade (1973) and reaffirmed in Planned Parenthood v. Casey (1992). In Roe, the Court held that the right to privacy, derived from the Due Process Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment, encompassed a woman's decision to terminate her pregnancy. This right was not absolute; it was balanced against state interests, allowing regulations after the first trimester and prohibitions after fetal viability, except when necessary to protect the mother’s life or health. Casey upheld Roe’s core holding but replaced the trimester framework with the "undue burden" standard, protecting the right to an abortion before viability.

The Dobbs decision overturned Roe and Casey, ruling that the Constitution does not confer a right to abortion, returning regulatory authority to the states. Thus, prior to Dobbs, a constitutional right to an abortion existed under the framework of Roe and Casey.
The constitution in itself did not. It had to be made up through mental gymnastics by some pro-abortion judge

as hog said, thanks for proving my point. Roe & Casey are not the Constitution. those were merely cases that made it to the Supreme Court.

abortions were allowed under the Constitution, but that doesn't mean there was a RIGHT to them. which is why it was able to be turned over to the states instead of trying to assume one blanket answer one way or the other.

Dobbs didn't ban abortions either. another common lie.

Agreed. My broader point is that their are no rules, that I can find, dictating how many sessions a rep can or can't miss.

True, but what kind of give a **** citizen allows their representation to just say f*** it I ain’t gonna do my overpaid job that I swore to do? Piss on em! Round em up and tell em to perform their duties and quit wasting taxpayer money.

it's half way there....and the Dems cannot stop it.
Oh on that you are correct it’s gonna pass. I’ve never said it won’t. But you aren’t gonna get your FBI frog marching Dems back into the chamber as you claimed before you started moving those goal posts 😂🤡

I never said the FBI would arrest the Dems and take them to jail....but the FBI did get involved for the search of the Dems when people said the FBI could not get involved.

It's all in the hands of the Texas Supreme court now and it will take time for the wheels of justice to turn.....

Yes you did. You’re lying.

Yes you did. You’re lying.
I said if there were federal bribery charges filed and an indictment by grand jury then the FBI could arrest them.

They are right now waiting on ruling from Texas Supreme Court.

bribery charges still under investigation by Texas Rangers.

Oh I went back and checked the receipts. You went thru all kinds of mental gymnastics about “civil arrest warrants” trying to back up your stupid ass tweets.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! 🤣

Here’s one example

I never said it wasn't a civil warrant, I just posted a link showing the FBI may get involved. The link I provided says nothing about the warrant.

civil arrest warrants do allow for physical apprehension, not to be put in jail but to be made to physically appear. Since Dems are out of state and Texas has no jurisdiction in ILL the FBI may be brought in
