ITs normal to run from the cops and elbow one in the eye.. Then resist arrest. Yeah seems completely normal for someone who did nothing wrong.
It's normal procedure for police to list any incidental contact while detaining/arrresting/subduing a suspect in order to bolster any potential charges. It's a routine tactic they use along with overcharging and should be viewed with a grain of salt.
Where have you been hiding your head in the sand all these years?
Every program has problems, but ours are concerning to me since its in our backyard.. Other schools arent having as many problems recently as we have, especially to the extent that have happened here. It saddens me that it has happened and hopefully these other guys will wake up and realize that being out at 2 am drinking isnt a great idea.

I hold KPD in higher regard than I do the local fish wrapper. Therefore, I'm more disappointed to see it in a police report. Of course, they are told to take down each and every piece of potentially relevant information. I find that to be a bit of information overkill.Which is more pathetic...the inclusion of this in a police report or KNS coverage and includsion in the Rogers "story"?
If it comes out and these guys did nothing wrong... Ill send a personal apology to them, and you guys... But everything is looking like a very very bad situation... I really hope its not, I want Tn to succeed in every aspect of the game and the players to earn there degrees. I truely hope that it was some other person not associated with the program and its a big misunderstanding... if it is apologies to everyone that was falsely accused and to anyone on here.

They must have really scared Hughes or bluffed him for him to hire an attorney so fast. I mean I wouldn't utter a word without one but him being the only one to hire an attorney so early kind of puts him in bad light as though he has something to hide. I have always used attorneys especially when my boys were a bit out of line, I know you need them and they are worth every penny. It will be interesting to see his involvement.
You missed the sarcasm oozing from my post.Well this one was no assault by Rogers at all if the report is accurate. This guy apparently grabbed Rogers, who couldn't see at the time, and Rogers more or less tried to get away.
If you want to be technical about it, he assaulted Rogers if he touched him first. No bystander has the right to just grab someone to try to detain them like that, no matter how well-intentioned he was.
