Hello everyone.
Newbie here but a lifelong never left my Vols even when we were the often scolded stepchildren of Bear Bryant.
I never give up and always wear my orange and last game day I doubled it up hoping it would help.
So anyways heres my first post. Caught this on DawgRun.com.
Man seems like everyone is thinking CPF is going bye bye if he loses this game. Well I stand behin my VOLS but the Coaching I cant support. Our young men on the gridiron do as they are told. If they are continuosly told to run up the middle ya really think they are ever gonna perfect it when they know that you gotta change things up. Our tradition lies deep our roots are as old as some of the best schools around. We have long played "old school" ball and i truly think the time is upon us to shake up the system. We were once a feared opponent and for a valid reason too.
But times change and we have not. Its time we brought to the table a new recipe. Somewhere between the mentality of a Myers / Spurrier crossbreed.
When I see a team claiming they OWN us and our beloved Stadium I think then is the time to fire it up for the team, for the fans, and more importanly our PRIDE HONOR and RESPECT.
For the Players on this board its time to get it done and bring the honor back to the HILL where it belongs.
GET FIRED UP AND LETS GO BARBQUE SOME DAWGS.
Heres the article.
Rent is Due on Richt-Neyland Stadium in Knoxville
This Saturday will go a long way to deciding whether Georgia still has a shot at the SEC East this year and whether Phil Fulmer still has a job next year.
Georgia boasts the SEC's 6th best scoring offense, averaging over 32 points a game versus Tennessee's league worst scoring defense, allowing over 37 points a game. On the other side of the ball is a Tennessee offense that is scoring an average of over 34 points a game against a Georgia defense allowing just over 17 points a game.
Look for the Georgia defense to blitz early and often to keep Eric Ainge on his heels and feeling the pressure most of the afternoon. Ainge has had to press a little more with the defense not providing enough overall help, and the running game being merely average. Expect there to be numerous interceptions in this game and the Georgia secondary steps up big in this game.
Georgia has notched 3 wins in a row in Neyland Stadium under Mark Richt. Look for that trend to continue. There simply is no better at getting his team prepared for big road games than Mark Richt. Tennessee simply isn't doing enough on defense right now and the rent is due on Richt-Neyland Stadium.
Prediction: Georgia wins 31-20
My prediction:
VOLS 27 dawgs 24
GO VOLS  :good!: :td:
