I'd rather see CLK walk out to the middle of the field and flip him off.

I hope Kiffin acts like he's gonna shake his hand and instead smacks him dead in the face with an open hand........

Someone needs to photoshop this together...where's CincyVol when you need him?

UF victory: I expect a brief handshake with no words.
UT victory: I expect Meyer to snub Kiffin and go to the locker room to cry.

I would enjoy a victory handshake kind of a symbolic showing similar to the passing of the torch.

I hope this rivalry turns into the Fla-FSU where they always have to break the teams up before they start fighting. Hell Coach O would be in the middle of it..

nah that's awful. believe me you dont want that to happen.

That's how a coach loses control of a program.

And players can get needlessly hurt.

Two years ago Urban Myer walked by Coach Fulmer and wouldn't shake his hand. When asked in the post game interview why he didn't shake hands, Urban asked is this on the record or off the record? She replied on the record and he said he would wait til his retirement to answer that question. First thing: wonder what the reasoning was? Second thing: what are the odds Kiffin and Myer shake hands in Gainesville this year?

Go Vols!!!!!!

are we talking about after the 2005 16-7 game or the 2006 21-20 game?

Yep, see Clemson v. SC about 4-5 years back.
Stupid and embarassing.
For them.
Exit Lou Holtz, don't remember, but he may have gone to a bowl that year and was not allowed.
Without that fight, we could possibly be without his enlightened predictions.

That brings to mind an interesting article in the Atlanta papers this morning about the Georgia-Oklahoma St. game this weekend. The OSU coach has concerns about the players shaking hands before the game, fearing a brawl. Can't quite figure out where he's coming from.

Handshake with Dawgs? Oklahoma State coach not sure| ajc.com

i read that this morning and got a chuckle out of it. The NCAA wants them to shake hands to promote sportsmanship and Gundy doesnt want to shake hands fearing it will promote a brawl.. I understand where he is coming from. players walk up to one another and one says something, a punch is thrown, before u know it. its a war.

I don't remember this happening and, if it had, would have expceted it to be brought up here more frequently than this. Anyone got a link on this to prove it did happen? I am skeptical...
