Remember what happened during Kirby's 1st year at Georgia?

On a side note....I don't see Les Miles for example trotting out a team so obviously unprepared and lacking this much in the most basic football fundamentals. If Les is coaching this team...it isn't the beatdown that occurred. Les Miles would have had us in the game. He wouldn't have let it happen. Just sayin'.

Georgia is ticked, played like crap yesterday, they will play mad come Saturday but UT literally can’t play worse, it wasn’t what UF was doing, it was UT. I’ve never seen that many mistakes and Pruitt said it was the best warmup they’ve had.

If we want to catch up to Georgia and Bama, we're just going to have to give JP time, like we did with Johnny Majors back in the 70's after BB drove the program into the ground, and the recent cast of clowns we've dealt with since Fulmer's firing who have done the same.

I'm not ready to run JP off yet.

I'm mostly shocked and disappointed at the attitude and ineptitude of all these shiney 3, 4, and 5 star turds BJ brought in. According to everyone, and all the rating services and networks we were pulling in top 15 classes. JG was supposed to be great, blah, blah, blah, DL suppose to be great, blah, blah, blah. This OL is great, blah, blah, blah. What a scam from all involved.

I wouldn't mind if JP spent 75% or more of this upcoming recruiting class on OL and DL. I can't believe how bad that part of the team is and has been since before Fulmer left. We ain't going no where until that is fixed.

Think I'll go to my 10 year old nephew's soccer games on Saturday for the next month or so. At least I'll see some heart from the players there.

Sorry for ranting, I'm really pissed.

I know everyone is upset about the result of the game tonight. All I have to say is remember what happened in 2016 with Georgia the week before we played them. They got blown out by Ole Miss 45-14 in a downright embarrassing game. Everyone was making fun of Kirby Smart and Georgia. We were sure at that time that Georgia made a huge mistake letting Mark Richt go and that Kirby would never get it done. Conversely, our team had just come off a huge comeback victory over Florida. Most were expecting us to trounce them the following week. Instead they outplayed us for most of the game and it took a miracle for us to win.

I think the same thing will happen next week. We'll play Georgia close and the game will come down to the wire. I haven't lost faith in this team. Tonight was just a bad game. It is not indicative of how the rest of the season will go or Jeremy Pruitt's ability to get us back to winning championships. I have faith we will turn things around next week. We might not beat Georgia but we will play them close. Look for this game to be a replay of what happened in 2016. The team everyone is counting out is gonna come into that game with something to prove and play better than everyone expects.

This is a dumb post. Kirby took over a locked and stocked program that was oozing with talent. These situations aren’t close to being comparable.

This right here. UGA will fix many things that let Mizzou stay with them. They will be ready to go big time. We have so many things to fix, I don’t even know where to begin. Sure, any given day, wins can happen, but we’re just not that lucky.

Part of what has to be seen is the overall competitiveness in games. Kirby lost 3 winnable games, including the Dobbnail Boot game. He inherited a 10 win team and with a few breaks could have won 10 himself in Year 1.

We just lost by 4 TD to a Florida team that will lose a few more times this year. We are not (yet) at a level of competitiveness from Kirby’s first team. Or even Saban’s first Bama team. Last night was a reality check that we are not a bowl team. Just find the right pieces to build on.

Love me some Dobbs 4. Until our guys figure how to put a hat on a hat blocking we will get curb stomped every sec game this year.

I agree, however, Pruitt and kirby have/had a lot to learn in their 1st seasons as HC. My biggest concern with Pruitt is he needs to keep his head out of defenses ass and be a HC. Everyone in the stadium knew Jordan was the worst possible back to have in on your own goal line. He needs to make sure the right personnel is in the game.

Georgia has never had a team that looked anything like what I saw tonight at Neyland Stadium...... Never, think about that
Exactly. I have no idea why people try to compare Kirby’s first year or sabans first at bama to this team. First of all everyone knows that Pruitt did inherit a worse situation. Having said that neither of this two previously mentioned teams ever looked anything like this one. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a team from a power 5 conference look like this one. They look completely incapable of even trying to compete with anyone. It’s weird.

Old Dominion lost to Liberty 52-10 a few weeks ago. They just beat #13 Virginia Tech today.

This is college football. Anything can happen from week to week.

You're going to see a very motivated UT football team next week.

I'm not sure Tennessee is on Old Dominion's level yet.

Remember when you said we'd start 4-0 and win the SEC East this year? Also when you said we'd win the NC in 2016....and 2017? Remember when you said all this last year before the Georgia game? Remember when you said we had a load of talent and Pruitt would prove it was all Butch Jones?

And remember when you keep posting all this sunshine pumping BS because you like getting all the likes from the sunshine pumping lemmings that like any thing posted that is orange colored glasses positive?

Yes. If anything i like our team more.

Replay this game over again and we could easily beat them as long as the turnover differential isn't huge.

You guys are overlooking how much turnovers can change the nature of a game.
You know what D4H I'm going to agree with you on the turnovers, our fumbled touchback and 3 turnovers setting up FLA in their red zone, that's a 28 point swing. Now FLA may have scored 3 touchdowns anyway but our D was playing pretty good. It's hard for good teams to overcome turnovers, and even harder for teams that aren't real good especially when you have 6.

I don't believe they're unprepared they just aren't very good, defense is alittle better than last year imo. These coaches aren't miracle workers, these players have no confidence and some are just unteachable because they've done it wrong for so long. I don't think there's a coach in the country that can make this season any better. 6 turnovers is what made that game bad not the coaches.

It took a million turnovers by Tennessee for what happened tonight to happen. As long as they can play mistake free football they can play with Georgia next week.

What we found out tonight is that Kentucky is a lot better than people thought. Which makes that loss by Florida not as bad as it looked a few weeks ago. Which means the Florida team that was at Neyland today isn't as bad as we thought. And it took a whole lot of turnovers to make this a non-competitive game.

College football has a funny way of changing from week to week. I like our chances against Georgia next week.

Still think we're going 10-2? Winning out?

Tennessee hasn't played mistake free all year. Athens will be a nightmare scenario for this offense. Give me a smart QB that can slide protection before the snap. I don't think JG is a smart QB - he's tough and I credit him for that.
