I know everyone is upset about the result of the game tonight. All I have to say is remember what happened in 2016 with Georgia the week before we played them. They got blown out by Ole Miss 45-14 in a downright embarrassing game. Everyone was making fun of Kirby Smart and Georgia. We were sure at that time that Georgia made a huge mistake letting Mark Richt go and that Kirby would never get it done. Conversely, our team had just come off a huge comeback victory over Florida. Most were expecting us to trounce them the following week. Instead they outplayed us for most of the game and it took a miracle for us to win.

I think the same thing will happen next week. We'll play Georgia close and the game will come down to the wire. I haven't lost faith in this team. Tonight was just a bad game. It is not indicative of how the rest of the season will go or Jeremy Pruitt's ability to get us back to winning championships. I have faith we will turn things around next week. We might not beat Georgia but we will play them close. Look for this game to be a replay of what happened in 2016. The team everyone is counting out is gonna come into that game with something to prove and play better than everyone expects.

God I love the spot we're in right now

They also opened the season beating a ranked team and beat another SEC team before that same. So theres that.

And noone expected us to trounce them.

Are you seriously comparing 2016 Ole Miss to 2018 Florida? LOL, seriously? We are not in the vicinity of that level of play and frankly neither is Florida. We just regressed that much. Imagine that, we are worse off today than we were last year, we are that bad. Bottom 30 of power 5 no doubt.

It will be bad. Very bad.

The most important days for Tennessee football in the near future are early signing day and national signing day.

It took a million turnovers by Tennessee for what happened tonight to happen. As long as they can play mistake free football they can play with Georgia next week.

What we found out tonight is that Kentucky is a lot better than people thought. Which makes that loss by Florida not as bad as it looked a few weeks ago. Which means the Florida team that was at Neyland today isn't as bad as we thought. And it took a whole lot of turnovers to make this a non-competitive game.

College football has a funny way of changing from week to week. I like our chances against Georgia next week.

Through 16 quarters, we have yet to.play mistake free football, but all the sudden its.gonna change against a playoff caliber.team? Man this stuff makes my brain hurt.

We must be over trained huh?

And no, it.didnt take a million turn overs, this.game wasnt competitive from the start.

Kentucky just blew out a highly ranked Miss State. Maybe Florida isn't as bad as we think. Also consider the fact that turnovers decided this game. If we start the game all over its unlikely what happened tonight happens again.

This was a flukey game against an opponent that is better than most thought (given the way Kentucky looks). We're not a good team but we ain't as bad as most think.

Don’t kid yourself thinking Florida is any good

Did you watch the game? Pope fumbled a sure TD without really even getting hit.... JG was blindsided like hell....shamberger coughs up a kickoff ..... Jordan tries his usual bounce everything outside move from his own end zone...the defense totally quit after Shamberger's fumble...... receivers dropped balls that hit them in the hands.... the Oline played like marshmallows..... the D had zero pass rush.... hell... they didn't even hit anyone.... looked like they were playing flag or two hand touch .... this was the worst case of shi***ng the bed I've ever seen.

Or Miss St was overvalued? Florida is not a good football team, we're just worse.

OP are you drunk? That same Ole Miss team scored over 40 points on Bama and stayed in the game with FSU. It was at home too. Most points a Gator team has ever scored in Neyland. Florida is not a good team and they just embarrassed our Vols.

It was bad, watched this team allow 5 yards because they weren't prepared to or just plain don't know how to tackle. Sign of a poorly coached team, sad to say but this staff has to get better or the players won't!

Georgia has never had a team that looked anything like what I saw tonight at Neyland Stadium...... Never, think about that

Their performance in 2016 against Ole Miss was worse. We just had a ton of self inflicted wounds. Turnovers caused by poor mental mistakes. Replay the game over and we could compete with Florida.

In 2016 Ole Miss just hammered Georgia. There wasn't a barrage of turnovers like in our game. Ole Miss just man-handled them. We looked better than that.

We haven't played a complete game since CBJ was around. There is no hiding our OL and GAs DL is much better than we played tonight. This won't be close, as whoever is running the offense can't find his butt with both hands.

Old Dominion lost to Liberty 52-10 a few weeks ago. They just beat #13 Virginia Tech today.

This is college football. Anything can happen from week to week.

You're going to see a very motivated UT football team next week.

Stop acting yall did anything today. We play this game again and we could easily beat yall. It took a million turnovers for the game to get out of reach.

Florida and Tennessee are on the same level right now. Stop acting like you're better.
