That is just a lie. Auburn has been able to beat them once every few years and look at the chaos going on there. With some stability, and good recruiting, we should expect to beat them, at least sometimes.

That is spot on. Everybody seems to think Pruitts recruiting is getting us back. Truth is, top 15 classes are not enough to compete anymore. We must be in the top five every year to have a chance.

I didn't like this statement at the time. And it's even worse to see our own fans give it validity. I don't want a coach who says it's going to take this or that before we can even slow them down. Yeah, we can't get out of our own way, but trust me for a few more years and maybe we might even be able to be competitive with them! That's inspiring.

I'd argue that attitude of the players is worth more than anything else. You can tell that these seniors and juniors, not all, had the "butch mentality." If it's true that the players will take on the head coach's attitude, then we should be much improved on the effort and attitude than last year.

Its not worship if it is true. Bama is head and shoulders above everyone in the SEC with the closest being UGA. We will see this unfortunate fact yet again in less than a week. I hate UA, but to say that they aren't good or "we" as in UT are close to being able to compete with them for a 60 min football game is laughable and delusional.

They made the gap wider? Because our class ranking?

It's about building an identity and recruitng players that can adhere to that. And then coaching it all up. They did NOT widen the gap.
Do you want to know why? Because they are already at the top and we are climbing...

It is hard for a college football team to become any better than what Alabama is right now. It's about maintaing for them every year and finding the right motovation to maintain....

This class definitely helped begun to close the gap
