That's our coaching staff. They get paid over 2 or 3 million dollars collectively and they are capable of that level of ineptitude.

Tx am loss should not come as a surprise. To think there is a possibility of long term success with this bunch is wishful thinking

Here is the gist of it. Tennessee cannot defend the drive to the basket with their "all consuming, all Cuonzo" man-to-man defense. Every game they have lost has been due to many drives to the basket and resulting layups. At some point in every game, good teams play a zone. Doesn't matter which zone as long as it stops layups. The other teams seem to be able to shut Tennessee scoring down with a good zone. They end up running in circles and not scoring a basket. It is pitiful to see the big guys trying to go up with three defenders surrounding them.

Ditto x 3 or 4 or whatever.

They cannot defend the dribble drive because Zo recruits players outside that are like himself - taller and long armed. Then when the opponents get past them and are not fouled, our bigs are not tall and cannot jump to contest the shot. Thus the need to offset with switching to zone.

I am amazed any school would pay that much money for this fundamentally flawed coaching and recruiting. As a Vol fan I am personally offended at the UTAD's attitude toward its fans and supporters over the last half dozen years. They got lucky it in football. It's time to fix in basketball.

I've gone to every game this year. Even Tusculum. Last night was the last straw. Auburn will give us more than we can handle this week.
