Y'all just played Auburn and Florida back to back.

It's highly likely that even if you win the national championship, you're not going to play two more difficult games back to back.

You may not see a team the whole tournament that has that kind of personnel or can do what those teams can do.

My wife has Florida, Tennessee, Alabama and Auburn as the final four. So there's that possible counter to that thought.

I just saw Rece Davis, Jay Bilas, Jay Williams, and Seth Greenberg all pick Florida to win the whole thing.

The thing about FL, although they only lost 4 games all year which is obviously very impressive, is that their losses haven’t been necessarily gritty, down to the wire battles. They were breakdown games nobody saw coming. Losing to Mizzou at home, getting pounded by Georgia by 27 at one point and ultimately losing, getting pounded by 20 by Tennessee who had 2 starters out. What is suggests to me is that they are susceptible to a breakdown, head scratcher loss about once every 8 games on average. They’ve now won 6 straight, so I don’t see it as very likely that they can win 6 more, which is what they’d need to win it all. Write it down, they will almost definitely game-fart in their 2nd or 3rd matchup.

I wonder if we’ll see as many upsets as we’ve had in the past since many of the better mid-major players have moved on to major programs through the portal. Seems there are fewer players at that level that can carry a team down the stretch in a close game.

Seems like it would have an adverse affect. Gonzaga's entrance onto the big stage was purely from being mid major upstart. To a little less extent, Butler fell into that category. Notice the last few years for both of them

If Gators aren't AT LEAST in the final four....Gator coaching messed up royally (and I rarely make those type predictions...in fact prob my one and only prediction this year ). Florida CLEARLY has the talent and is deep and healthy now.

I try not to get too excited as it's a set up for disappointment. But, they played 6 games against Auburn, Tennessee, and Alabama. All very different teams.

They won 5 of them and only one was a home game.

On top of all that, none of those 5 wins were down to the wire kind of games. I just don't know what other team in the country was/is good enough to pull that off.

I thought Florida was the best team/roster even before the tourney. They are so deep in the post. Just rotate guys and it wears on teams so much. We didn’t have the interior depth to match it and I think that was the biggest difference in our game yesterday. Couple that with the 4 guards you have and bam you’ve got the best roster in the country

Duke might be a tough matchup for anyone if they are hitting their shots. However, they don't have a true point so they can be turned over quite a bit. Interestingly, their offensive efficiency goes up without Flagg on the floor. And as we've seen in the past, young teams tend to get rattled in a tournament environment. Duke has also played a soft schedule. UF absolutely should be the favorite as they've shown they can win against different styles.

My biggest concern going into the Big dance is the officiating. No not it will be bad or against us, but the fact that the SEC is a very physical conference and for most part the officials let them play. ( yes I know sometimes it seems unbalanced). I'm concerned if SEC teams run into a crew that calls every tacky foul, it will completely ruin the game flow and that can cause havoc in many ways.
