When we wasted Dobbs' redshirt in a blowout loss to Bama? Next two games were against 11-1 Mizzou and 11-1 Auburn. I'm guessing Butch wishes he had that to do over again. Could have taken those L's with Peterman and we'd have one more year with a really talented QB.

Yeah....remember when gas was under $1 per gallon and stamps were 10 cents? None of that matters now just like Dobb's redshirt doesn't matter....get OVA it. :shades:

I thought we were all moaning about dobbs being terrible? Or how shoop and debord can't coach.

What about Mahoney and our offensive line? Or butch not playing kamara and Kelly earlier?

Now we are reaching to him not red shirting a qb half of y'all complain about every week?

I hope I don't run into y'all at the sugar bowl.

Actually, you've never seen me complain once about any of our players. I choose not to bash kids that CHOSE to play for UT. First and foremost because I've actually played the game at a high level and understand how difficult it is. Secondly, I've been a coach for the last 10 years and have had several players move on to the next level, and one coaching as a G.A. At an SEC school. I realize how much goes into being a player at this level. Therefore, I choose to support our players regardless of their performance. The point I'm making is the stupid decision to waste a year of eligibility for 4-5 throw away games, especially at the QB position. Very few 18 year olds are capable of playing QB in this league.

That's awesome. Did you play college and move straight to high school coaching? Not being sarcastic either. Have a buddy who played JUCO and was gonna GA for a MAC school but got offered a coordinator role for High school and took it.

If that scenario had played out, then Geranamo and the other q.b.'s probably would not have come to U.T. They would have signed to go elsewhere. They would have had to wait too long to be Dobb's replacement.
