Remaining 2019 recruits the Vols will add this summer

Pretty good article detailing the skills of the incoming 2019 recruits this summer.

It paints a fairly optimistic view for each incoming recruit, enough to get my optimistic orange colored glasses unfogged again.

Hoping for the best, but also mentally prepared for another rebuilding year.

There is likely three instant contributors. There's a lot of mass yet to arrive and that's what Pruitt wanted and what we all know we need. Got to believe our O-line average size is increasing significantly heading into the fall.

I think Savion Williams who will come in SEC ready, but the size and strength of the guys he will now be facing, as well as just their talent, will be far different than what he has seen, so it will still be an adjustment. But the JUCO film we have seen of him he has looked like a grown-ass man among boys, so I think he is SEC ready when he arrives. It may be a short adjustment period for him, but not for long, I think.

If Roman Harrison proves early on to be the elite pass rusher that the staff believes he will be, then I expect him to get a lot of playing time.

The other JUCO DL, Middleton, could possibly be an immediate player simply because DL competition is wide open this offseason.

Don't know about any of the others. I know if we are leaning heavily on the freshmen OLs this season, despite their rankings, then we probably are in big trouble again on the OL. I feel a little better abut Morris than Wright, simply because he was an early enrollee, but would prefer the freshmen be nothing more than depth. But I do so long for days of RSing incoming OLs.

Yeah, as much as EE's got attention, I'd almost forgotten how much legit talent coming in over the summer. Man, if these guys can show up in shape and have decent feel for the play book, by mid season, we should have alot of frosh contributing.

Henry T will play alot, Roman will get reps as well. Wright is already a starter and hopefully Lampley will enter the two deep. Williams will likely start and I believe Simmons will jump Harris & Emerson at nose. Beasley will be the biggest suprise IMO, probably will be the hardest hitter on the team.

7-5 with a bowl game. Just make progress continue to recruit at a high level. The biggest thing I want to see this year is fewer losses by 25+ points. This will tell us a lot about the trajectory of the program.

Almost forgot about the three huge DL we have coming in. Williams should be an immediate plug and play. If Solomon gets eligible, the D line could be over the hump of recovery. That will give you a front three that anyone would have been jealous to get. No question these guys better fit Pruitt’s prototype than did last years seniors.

Really excited about To’ and Roman. I still think Harrison is the steal of group.

Williams, Harrison, Wright and To'oto'o are the 4 that can make the biggest impact out of that group. Harris could probably throw his hat in that ring as well, but i'm not sure he makes it.....won't know probably for sure until sometime mid summer. so even if he does make it, he'll be behind the 8 ball development wise.

Beasley is the sleeper imo. he's just a good all around football player. will be interesting to see where he ultimately winds up.

Pretty solid and positive post CA_Vol. I'd like to throw in an upset in that mix. Nobody gave us a shot at Auburn last year, and it was a pretty sweet win. A game where Callaway and Jenkins made monster plays like they are supposed to do, and then there were games where they were no-shows. Need some consistency with those two and good things will happen.

There you are, I've been looking everywhere for you.

The bold is most important for me this year. At least be IN every game*, even Bama.

*Doesn't include Florida, no hope for that one, its an automatic loss.

Well said. I would love to see us overachieve, but will definitely settle with meeting rational expectations. That would be another huge step in the right direction.
