So, if depth charts are released on Monday's, how can players "have a good week of practice" and earn playing time in the game at the end of the week? Supposedly, Will Ignont earned reps for the UTEP game by the way he practiced during the week.

The depth chart doesn't mean a whole lot to the coaches. It's more for fans and media. The guy that is out there for the first snap is not always the guy who is out there for the most snaps.
