Take out a small loan. Last year was $350-500 per seat.
That’s insane that’s prices to watch UT and Florida, UGA, bama etc play football . I would never pay that much for a baseball game. Not a knock on you just the craziness of how tickets have gotten

Question. How come people don't have a problem paying $300 for a football game against ETSU but scream when baseball tickets are $150 against Vandy or LSU or such. Much less to watch the Vols play in Regional or Supers. I would pay the same for baseball, basketball or football. I would not pay to go to a football game but gladly pay for baseball.

Take a deep breath, brother. 😉
It tickles me to see you so wound up (in a perverse way, noted) but I have to admit that seeing the complaints continue when presented with extremely reasonable options to participate in a game, live at the stadium, raises my hackles too.

I would never pay $300 to see us play a football game against ETSU and I have paid $150 to see us play teams like Vandy/LSU 😁

I think one answer lies in the fact that a football game is an entire day experience. You aren't just paying for the game. You are paying for the recall of the memories you made with you dad, your brother, your best friend. Tailgating, Volwalk, the Band marching to the Stadium. It is an entire event. And it only happens a handful of times a year. All on Saturdays, so people can make it there from out of town. And it is always sold out. And as a man who went to these games as a kid with his dad, then went as a student, an alum, a husband, and now a Dad, those memories are re-lived twice a year when I come in for games.

Baseball, well, baseball fans are used to having a lot of baseball games all week long for months. And, it is just the game. There is not the buildup, the anticipation, the drama and the pageantry. The stakes for individual games is rarely as high - if you lose tonight, you can still win the series. Many times, there are lots of empty seats. Fans have a hard time understanding how so many seats can be so empty, yet prices still be so high. So it goes..... I will say, if I lived within 90 minutes of LNS, you would not ever have the problem of a wasted ticket. ;) 5+ hours? Well, that is a bit different.

I love Tennessee football. I rarely pay top dollar for tickets because I mooch off the family's 63 year history of season tickets. Once mom is gone, those tickets are, too, and I will very likely pay a premium for one game a year to enjoy the weekend with my bride.

Tennessee baseball? I am able to come in 1x a year for a high-dollar series (Fla., Ga, LSU), or maybe 2x a year if tickets are reasonable. I love Tennessee baseball games. I love them as much as I love the football games, often even more. But the total gameday experience? Football wins.

That said, this weekend's games are very reasonably priced. The product you are getting, against a rival opponent, in what can still be an electric environment, is every bit worth a $30-50 ticket. Wishing for a $12 ticket is just not realistic with the product on the field. Everyone who has complained about wanting to go to a big series, a meaningful series, at a reasonable price? Now is your chance. But those tickets and get ROWDY!!!!!

Well-said. It pretty much mirrors my entire history with UT sports.

How can I get 2 tickets for regionals? Wanting to take my dad. Was going to take him to the sec tournament, but due to his health he said he would rather stay closer to home and see TN play in Knoxville
You might call the ticket office to see if they have any ADA tickets available.
