That may be your opinion, but I still believe if he could be a receiver, he would.

why would he play receiver?

We had no depth in the secondary last year. There was packages preseason with him playing some QB and WR but we had no depth in the secondary so we couldnt risk him.

I believe we will see Berry on offense a little bit next year. Simply because (if i'm not mistaken) CPF & CDC promised him that he would see time on offense, and Cutcliff even talked about specific offensive packages featuring Berry. This is what ultimately got him to sign with us. Berry emphasized his desire to play both ways. Unless he's changed his mind since then. But that being said, I would love to see an offensive package with Jones & Berry in there at the same time. I think they would be hard to stop and I hope we see it some next year.
