Regarding Bailey-u should read this

If people want him to come, they should stop talking about how it is a foregone conclusion as to who will be the starter next year. If the kid thinks he's not gonna get a fair shot, I doubt he honors his commitment.

He already saw what happened this year.
I guess you are one of those that are trying to push the narrative that Maurer did something that proved he was the better option at QB.

I think Mullen prefers a duel threat qb. Bailey is pure pocket passer. Don't know if fla was trying to recruit or not.
I think HB had made a decision before Mullen came into the picture at Fla

I’m going to predict that JG’s ultimate value to UT lies in not only earning his Orange and White stripes (see his multiple physical and mental beatings and subsequent growth), and a better than most (top tier of sec) 5th year, but most importantly a wise approach to offload and level up the next generation of UT signal caller(s), with Harrison Bailey as the most immediate beneficiary on the field, and Long Suffering Vol fans the greatest beneficiaries off. Just a prediction. Fire away.

The next 3 or 4 years are going to be fun to watch as our total rebuild bears serious fruit and the sports people are forced, kicking and fighting, to give our Tennessee footVol Team the respect they've earned.

This is a really good class that fills needs at about every spot on the Team.

Thanks to Pruitt and staff some really good kids are now starting to see that Tennessee is again going to compete with most everyone in another year or 2.

It's always a slow, tough climb but we ARE climbing back up the mountain to where we've always belonged.

Now stomp the Whosiers and get some more good press!

VFL...GBO!!!

The recruiting services have always been a sham. Back in the 80’s Forrest Davis would put out a recruiting magazine and if you were considering UT you either were not mentioned or rated the lowest star rating. At the same time we were beating his 5 star talent at Bama. I do admire these services for their ability to take people’s money for garbage.

The semi finals game is a better game to watch....he had video game stats
How many of his stat yardage was attributable to a freak athlete catxhing his passes?

Listen, i hope the kid is the next coming of PM. However, he didnt look like it when the lights were the brightest of his career. My biggest concern is the posters who repeatedly claim he will start from day 1. Thiis kind of nonsense can place undie pressure in a HS kid.

How many games did you watch? Why don't you count the number of drops for touchdowns this freak athlete had just this season....

HB missed 10 games, practically his whole JR year and is still the number 4 best QB to ever come out of the state of Georgia in the top division. Not only did the play the best teams of Georgia they also played 2 of the top 10 national teams this year.

lead singer for aerosmith i think

I thought that was Axl Rose. LOL.

In Nov 78, I was front row and center at the civil coliseum to see them. Always wondered if he was that ugly up close. Picture are misleading. In person, he is uglier.

I think it's been said if you dont do enough camps they hose you. That's how JG got his false ranking, doing well in camps

Camps just let experts evaluate their mechanics in shorts. And though it is sometimes good for predictions, it's not complete. And though HS game film is good, it still doesn't tell you how well a player will do in college with bigger guys smacking him around. I think any time a college is recruiting a QB, one thing I would do is talk with his O-Line. If he is a guy they love like a brother, and will fight like hell to protect, there is a good chance he can have that effect with your O-Line.

I didnt watch any..except the 1st half of the championship game that was linked here.

Not a big date set i realize. However....his passing skils were not on display at all. So hopefully you guys are right..because should you be wrong i seriously dread listening to the howling from you folks that despise a young man that has given his all for Tennesse. Cant help but wonder who will be blamed...

He’s on ESPN U right now. He’s lighting it up! 6/8 155 yds passing...still in 1st quarter.

He had two 9 win seasons as bad as he was. His first 9 win season you could find zero proponents of "fahr Butch!!" here on VN.

Cooter still lost games he shouldn't have then the next year's 9 win season was with a weak defensively and offensive line because of a poor strength and conditioning program.
