Am I bias or what? We they as bad as I thought. Almost 54 Fouls called 29 in 2nd half. Tell me what you think.

I don't know, I thought they we were getting some terrible calls in the first half and a few went our way in the start of the second. Many blatant blown calls, like not calling a T after using the rim to get back in the play.

Someone who knows the rules well should watch the replay and see how many questionable calls there were on each side, consistency of calls, etc.

thanks. I would have expected them to be a little better in the Regionals. They totally controlled this game and missed some obvious calls both ways but VA benefited more from there inadequacy.

It works both ways it was a given but they CONTROLLED the game with their calls and I would give the edge to VA. 29 Fouls total is out of hand and VA was intending to foul at the end of the game. But the Stoppage of play for .2 sec for almost a minute give me a break and the TO being overlooked kinda gets under your skin.

How in the hell did they not call a T on UVA's defensive player hanging on the rim?

Refs were not very good. Called ticky tack fouls, then blatant no calls. By the end it think it smoothed out to be consistently bad for both teams. First half we were definitely getting all the cheap calls against us.

do they use conference refs and crews or is it three people that have never worked together before. there have been a lot calls the ODEN one that just not make sense. He did not bump him out his arms were extended how they miss that. Chisms two fouls in one minute of the 2nd half were cheap at best. Call one but not both.
Too many critical calls in this game for both teams.

What did you guys not know that you are allowed to hang on the rim with one hand and block shots with the other. Rule 49 b, article 1.

I didn't like offensive foulds called on UT near the end and then the idiot ref calls a blocking foul on Chisum when the UVA guy obviously threw a hard shoulder right in his chest. I don't think any of the officials today call this type foul/foul consistently.

They get it wrong a lot, but it's probably the toughest call to make in basketball at full speed. I do wish though that college would go to the NBA rule where there is a "no charge zone" under the basket

I don't know a lot about basketball, but just judging by the crowd they seemed to help us out more.

We had two Big 12 refs and I think another ACC ref, they all worked the game Friday.

The crews are made up of sort of "all-star" guys, so no, they haven't been consistently working together.
