Amazing win tonight! I don’t want to take anything away from our incredible victory. However, I can’t help but to think back on the past 20 years and so many bad calls that have gone against us, especially in big games, especially vs. Bama, etc…

I don’t think the refs gave us any calls that we did not deserve. Instead I think They actually just called a fair game. The only major blown call against us was the pass interference on our DB that should have been called on Bama’s WR.

But for a team that has gotten so many blatantly bad calls against us in recent years, why all of a sudden were the refs so fair today?

It looked like they almost wanted us to win. They certainly weren’t paid off by the Bammers…

Anyone have any inside info?? Or care to speculate?!?

The officials blew the PI call on us in the end zone when our defender was pulled down by the receiver. But, they gave us one back when they called pass interference on Bama later at the 1 yd line when pass was deflected and picked off. Close call, but I thought that one was clean.

As General Neyland said though, if at first the breaks don't go your way, put on more steam. That's exactly what we did. From all of the players to all of the fans!

I SAID IT'S GREAT TO BE A TENNESSEE VOL!

Alabama fans do not know how to loose gracefully here, i live on the Tennessee/Alabama state line. all i heard after the game is the refs were for Tennessee, bama fans just can not admit it around here they were out played and lost. i brought up do you not think in those 15 years of winning that game changing calls went Alabama's way ? ever great team has a run. its clear bama has struggled this year, last nights UT win can be the dagger that takes down the elephant from the high and mighty.just waiting on Saban's excuse for this game.

Everybody who has played Bama knows the ref's are intimidated by Satan. We've all seen them get the calls almost to the point where it's a joke to suggest they don't. The 2 most over used calls to unfairly affect games is the " roughing the passer" and " holding" because we all know holding can be called on just about any play. It's sad when fans take notice about a game that they let the players play and not decide the outcome with chick**** flags

50 % of them became Bama fans 15 years ago..Once elf Saban retires and the wheels fall off they'll hide all their Bama gear.

Can we all take a moment to appreciate the fact that a man whose job it is to officiate football games had to publicly announce "The ruling of fourth down is under review," and then required five minutes to determine that it was, indeed, fourth down?

Meh. They did call all the pass interferences right for us. They did call a pass interference against us that was bogus that led to a bama easy touchdown.
You are correct about that call when we had them backed up ---think it was 4 th down and goal but on the 20 yard line and they called holding when it was the Bama guy who took down the defender. Even the announcers said it was a bad call.

Both of those plays should have been PI on Bama. The missed PI that eventually resulted in a TD for Bama damn near cost us the game.

The Bama loss is 100% on Satan. Poor clock management at the end. Their miss wouldn’t have mattered if they didn’t leave 15 seconds on the clock. Would have gone into overtime. He misses Knox’s dad on the sideline. At least I think that peckerhead can read a watch.
