Who would DD NOT play when the blowout begins? Will one play burn a red shirt or a certain amount of time played?

If you step on that field as a player, the redshirt is gone. Medical redshirts can be granted if you played a little then it hurt, on a case by case basis.

Peterman has to be shirted. All in all you'll be surprised how many freshman will get shirted this year. That's the way it souls be when you actually have a team.

I think Danny O plays. Just a gut feeling.

Speaking of O' Brien. I have always had the feeling that he will not play at U.T. very long.
It seems odd but 90% of the players from either Ohio or Michigan, never pan out at U.T.
The offensive lineman from Cincinnati, Ohio, who played at Mouller High suddenly left the program.
Arnett left the program. Mike Edward left the program.

I only remember Price and McCoullough staying in the program and contributing the entire four seasons who are from Ohio.
I have the feeling that O'Brien will end up being a casualty for us too and not last the entire four seasons.

Ben Martin is a Cincy guy. Gave his all. Alden Hill from this class is from Ohio. I'm sure you could find more than enough players from this region over the years to put your argument to bed. Not saying you're necessarily wrong, but I'd label it as a coincidence more than anything else.

IMO burn RS's only where you anticipate losing the most to the NFL/gaduation/grades - WR's, possibly CB's - as well as in positions you simply need depth development. That would be RB, TE (slim pickin's), maybe safety with McNeil. Look pretty loaded in the lines and QB. LB lacks freshmen and has some depth through the 2's. They can always move Greg King back with Justin on the offensive side now.
