Rogan will continue to do damage on special teams. He'll struggle to see a lot of PT in the defensive backfield IMO. Vinson, Willingham, Johnson, Kemp and maybe Gaines will be in front of him on the depth chart.

Savion Frazier will be a prominent special teams player and a key reserve at LB.

Donald needs to keep working before he lives up to the hype. He might have a huge spring, but I still think he's a year away from being a huge contributor

Langley might be a big time DT, but he will not start. He'll be in the rotation at DT though

Martin and Walker both are expected to see a lot of PT at DE. Hopefully both come on strong

I try to limit my assumptions based on what I've seen with my own eyes so I really can't comment on the ones who haven't seen the field.

However, I think Rogan sees a bunch of pt this year. He really saw his pt increase after all the injuries in the secondary and it's no coincidence that the defense improved with him in the lineup.

Jones (if he gets his head on) and Moore will be big time playmakers at receiver. Creer will improve but prob won't get increased carries with the two coming back.

Berry is Berry and should be a hawk but the question of the spring is will Clawson make a push to get this kid the ball on offense. He says he want to use the playmakers and Berry is definately one of those. I think you gotta use him, within reason, on offense.

A lot of people often say "I have a good feeling about.....". My question is what gives you a good feeling about Donald? Is it the fact that he didn't see the field last year at all or did his poor grades last semester give you those feelings?

Most redshirts don't...

Hmmm, I never said anything about a redshirt guy being a huge contributor. Langley will have to see some playing time at DT simply because there isn't a lot of bodies there. If he has a pulse, he'll get a shot at DT.

Donald needs to live up to his hype. He hasn't so far or Savion Frazier wouldn't have got playing time over him

Good question on Berry. Last summer they had Gerald and him both in the offensive backfield at the same time. I wouldn't be shocked to see Berry line up at WR a snap or two a game.

Justin sees them with his own eyes everyday. His projections are typically right on the money.

You should not expect a guy who is failing in his RED-SHIRT FRESHMAN YEAR to contribute to this football team. I mean he did not have to worry about the games since he was red-shirt. He did not need to take major courses; he only need to take 9(?) hour 100 level classes, and not failing in them. I hesitate to come up with the result that "he should not have come here," but his case was pretty close to that. Maybe Donald will do nothing to his football team except he contributed to UT's football recruiting ranking.

It is a little early for all of that. It sometimes takes some people longer to get used to the college lifestyle.

He only had to take 12 hours and pass 6 hours in his major not 9.

i played with cwalk way back in the day and he was a damn good DE...at CBHS they ran the 3-3-5 defense and was at OLB and he was the one they sent...i personally think he would fit better as an OLB in a 3-4 scheme but since we are 4-3 the whole way i like him as a OLB with good speed who we can blitz play the run and work well in space.

all the more reason to wonder how a guy, with all the academic support in the world, cannot manage to pass two freakin classes. if he cant manage that, how can he call defenses in our system? I have to chuckle that it came down to us and ND for him. If you can pass at UT......
