So I got killed because, after I stopped an attempted hanging, a wolf and a cougar teamed up on me...I couldnt find the cougar in the dark

The bears always come up behind me and attack when I'm out hunting. It's always quite startling, and annoying.

Am I doing something wrong progress wise? I've played for about 8 hours and I've still only met Bonnie,Marshall(armadillo),Wes,Seth,and maybe 1 other person. I get side tracked with the strangers and such. And also. Do I need to eat/sleep for health or does it matter.

Depending on how much time you spend with strangers or hunting and general messing around; that sounds about right.

As for health. It just regenerates itself, fairly quick actually.

Is there a way to tell (other than @ the gen store) which horse I have and how to get the best. I've got the stallion Bonnie gave me right now. Can I break my own wild one?

You can break a horse but then you need to buy a saddle I guess. It's easier just to steal one. I haven't seen a criminal charge for that yet unless I killed the rider first. LOL

So far I really haven't seen where a faster horse is a huge help.

If you have broken a particular horse it will allow you to buy that deed for it..if you have not broken that kind you cant...but even after you buy the deeds to them you still need to go in your satchel and activate which kind you want to ride..

You're fine...it took me around 25 hrs or so to complete because i helped like 18 of the 19 strangers and messed around...when you go save at a house you bought/rented it moves the time up 6 hrs..

My great grandad also was one of thr first to go to France with Pershing as part of the 26th 'Yankee' Division.

lasso draggin' some sonofab- that stole my horse for a few miles (aiming him towards cactus and rocks) has got to be the funnest video game exp in a while for me =)

I just enjoy sitting outside of Blackwater (it has the most people traffic) and shooting everyone that is coming in. Shoot like 20+ people then finally let a witness go tell the sheriff, then I have like a $1500+ bounty. It's very relieving after getting everyone but one guy out in the Blackwater poker table.

is there someway to change the camera angle so I watch the guy being dragged while riding? I mean I know I can rotate it with the right stick, but that keeps causing me to turn around or stop once I get the angle from up front I want

I apparently hit the wolf spawn point near dias coronas. Hit with like a pack of 6 wolves, then immediately 5 more, then 2 packs of 4, and it just kept on coming. I think I killed (and skinned) at least 25-30 when it was all over....

I call it Wolf-pocalypse '10

This game is pretty cool im enjoying the single player but have not had much luck with the muitplayer yet is anyone wants to join up for some muiltplayer invite me if you see me log on
