Recruits who have us #1 on their list

I agree that the potential is there. But Croom, Pig, and Hill are all three unproven. If they do manage to do well then that will be great. But you still gotta keep add playmakers.

I completely agree with what you're saying. We gotta keep adding depth everywhere, especially on defense.

Well said, SIR :salute:

One DT and one DE. I surely hope those LBs and Ss are big dudes.

They will come.

Linemen take longer to evaluate. If you notice, Butch has only offered linemen that are not "projects." They're not going to take someone that is not going to contribute or provide quality depth.

Give it time. Some names will start popping up at OL and DL. The staff must REALLY like Coleman Thomas to go ahead and take him now.

Trust me, the staff is waiting until they see these linemen in person at camp to offer and start working on them. Lots of intricacies in evaluating linemen.

In August, we will start seeing a lot more OL and DL getting offers and talking more.

OL and DL WIN IN THE SEC, offence running up and down the field looks pretty but that wont get you the ring need big mean ugly DL AND OL.

Lots of carts waaaaaaay out in front of the horses on this here thread.

How? I mean, yes, it's April. 10 months to go until NSD.

But we are just saying two things:

1) UT likes these kids, and have offered most.

2) These kids like UT, and have named them the early leader.

That typically is a pretty good formula. Obviously, the situations will change and we will lay off some recruits, and they will cool on us, etc.

But the two pre-requisites to landing commits are there. We like them, and they like us.

Don't see where we are putting anything WAYYYY before anything.

Just seen alot of kids who at one time or another had us #1 only to sign with someone else on NSD. Not knocking your enthusiasm, I just can't do it this time of year.

I mean, this can truly be an amazing class. MAYBE the best in UT history.

Think about it: From this list:

1. QB - David Cornwell (seemed to really enjoy his visit today)
2. RB - Jalen Hurd
3. RB - Treyvon Paulk
4. RB - Caleb Kinlaw
5. ATH - Stanton Truitt
6. WR - Neiko Creamer
7. WR - Eric Lauderdale
8. WR - Dominique Booth
9. WR - Demarre Kitt
10. WR - Victor Wharton
11. WR - Josh Malone
12. WR - Lawrence Lee
13. TE - Daniel Helm
14. TE - Ethan Wolf
15. OL - Coleman Thomas
16. OL - Orlando Brown
17. OL - Bruno Reagan
18. OL - Matthew Pyke
19. DL - Derek Barnett
20. DL - Dwayne Hendrix
21. DL - Keshun Freeman
22. DT - Poona Ford
23. LB - Dillon Bates
24. LB - Elliot Berry
25. LB - Greg Miclisse
26. LB - Kevin Mouhon
27. DB - Todd Kelly Jr.
28. DB - D'Andre Payne
29. DB - Rashaan Gaulden
30. DB - Cortez McDowell
31. DB - D.J. Smith

I know it's early. But...even if we got all of those on that list, it's a stellar class. Forget Tabor, Glass, Chubb, Adoree Jackson, and everyone else we're in on.

I know you listed off people, but we're getting both Berry twins. Great list however. DB is hard to choose from because there are so many we could take.

Yeah, I forgot about Evan. I mean, 31 spots, and we lead for a lot right now. There's a long way to go between now and February. A lot can change. We're in on a lot of WR's and DB's. Which is a great thing.

I don't know how any Vol fan would not be excited at the prospects for this class, not to mention already getting started on 2015. There are alot of other players we will be adding to this list as well. I haven't been this excited about a class in a long, long time.

We are at the top of a lot of incredible recruits! I'm sure other posters will have even more info. If there are any corrections feel free to update. Just thought it would be nice to have a thread with recruits current status with the VOLS! VFL/Brick By Brick

So if all of these guys have us at the top (or near) of their lists, then we'll have signed 35 counting our current 9! Sounds to me like these guys better hurry up and sign up if they want to make it in before our scholly limit kicks in!

Patients my orange brothers and sisters!

In several other threads, it has been stated that a lot of the offensive lineman and defensive lineman will be offered soon. Frequently given their lack of adequate ratings and later development, Linemen will most likely be offered at the camps this summer.

Regardless of their position, it is great to see so many really good recruits with UT at the top of their list.
