The energy I saw today is something that hasn't been so clearly visible in recent years. My excitement and aspirations for the team grew today.

Lane using the freshman so much today is going to help us land some really good recruits next year. The announcers kept talking about all the freshman and how many were on the field and making an impact. GREAT ADVERTISEMENT! Go Vols, great win!:rock:

Im on the Teague bandwagon... BB and OKU I expected... I expected Nuke to have a good game... I think there is a spark with Teague though that he is going to have a great career... Well shoot all of the Freshmen will...

I have the feeling BB can make a block when needed as well. Did you see the hit he laid on the first int? That ball popped out like a seed out of a watermelon.

The Freshmen looked good, but what about Jon Crompton. He made some big time throws. Monte's defense looked strong also.

I love some of the disguises in Monte's D. We were just setting them up for situations and then clobbered them

I was surprised by the way all the freshmen contributed. it should help to land plenty of great recruits in the future!

Just watching the game again and still can't believe how strong these freshmen look. I'm excited about the future of UT football!

The 2009 VOLs played well and all the freshman really kicked some tail. I don't want to be a negative nancy but we played WKU. We should beat them just like the score showed. A bigger test will be coming up this weekend against UCLA and I believe we should do well but we need to improve on a few things. We can't have the turn overs like we did against WKU that will cost us big time against SEC teams.
