Brad pope a writer for KNS and rivals is saying on twitter that he is currently texting a 4 start recrut that has had a change of heart since finding out who the next coach is..says he is digging to find out anything.

Good change of heart according to his twitter. Also, this dude covers East Tennessee High school and recruiting. what 4 stars are coming out of east tennessee?

No one has broke this "hire", if Pope found who it was why would he not leak it? Maybe the recruit wouldn't reveal who it is, but this seems like BS.

O man if its a good change of heart that could be at least we are gonna get an interesting coach ....if its a change to go else where then that would mean a lesser hire is approaching IMO still 100% for the Grude

I think so as well but figured I would pass it along..what kills me is that fact that this search process has been so quite..that almost never happens when a major college is looking for a golf coach..let alone a football coach.

So his job is to break stories to sell papers, but he is sitting on the biggest story in the State of Tennessee? Seems legit.

He saying he is digging trying to figure it out..maybe it's a high school kid trying to get his name in the papers.. Idk

Its deffinitely interesting that he would throw himself out there like this. Of course there really are no side effects of being wrong in the media. Hell, look at what Phil Steele predicted about the acc upsetting the sec this past weekend. Whats going to come of him being dead wrong......nothing except Phil Steele's college football magazine for next year still being one of the most sold

Look at this dude's other tweets. He's not any kind of legit reporter, just a fan. I also Googled his "recruiting articles" and they're summaries of after-the-fact recruiting information you could read on any message board.

If so he just alerted the competition to a potential scoop and gave a vague reference to his source. Not smart.
