Am I crazy, or shouldn't we have a bunch more high quality DTs on the board than that? I mean, with the current dearth of talent at that position, and the fact that Tennessee has been traditionally strong there (both on the field and in the draft), shouldn't 5* DTs be tripping over themselves to play for Chavis?

What gives?

Not this year's, but next year's DL class will prolly be number 1. Hall, Sykes, Melancon and maybe Rufus being JuCo transfers.

looks like our next class will be mostly 3 star guys if that list pans out

looks like some quality recruits to me....lock up the instate kids and then fill the needs

i know we want walls......can we not take him and roussell? maybe they feel good about willard?

If we get Walls, we rescind Roussell's offer. Willard probably will stay in-state because i do not think we want 3 LB's this class.

This is why:
Senior LB's: Karl
Junior LB's: Mayo, Myers-White, Wilson
Soph. LB's: McCoy, Davis
Fresh LB's: Donald, Walker, Frazier, Hawkins, Thompson
Commits: Johnson, maybe Walls, and Lindsey coming from JuCo

Unless I am stupid, that's 3.

Let me rephrase that, if there is a stud linebacker that wants to come to UT, I don't think Fulmer is going to turn him down because we have 4 potentially less talented LBs on the depth chart.

HV,
Who do we get at LB. Walls, Roussell, & Hillard?

Walls - i think we lock him up
Donald, Walker, & Walls could all start at UT at the same time potentially...Walker would be a MLB right?

I love Walker's mentality, he seems to have that mean streak a lb needs, loved the comment about hurting Tebow, even though right now Tebow would probably run over him

Walker will end up a DE. He is already a monster and can add alot of weight. His mom has also said it is no problem to him.

I think we can land Walls. It'll be tough because he has almost immediate starting potential at UF but he loves UT. Roussell is no slouch, though, and we may find a way to take both. Hillard seems to be a backup and I think he stays instate.

Johnson is solid from what I have read. I don't see anybody we have committed that isn't solid now that Poole has cleared thign up.

After he visits (which is a good chance) we'll have a better view at where we stand with him. we're in his top5

AJ has elite speed.... but my PA friends who have seen him play say he won't go over the middle and is scared of contact... they also say he has retracting arms, meaning he pulls them back away from the ball if he thinks he's about to get hit. AJ is a 4* player because of his speed, but, by all reports, he's leaning PSU at this point... i still dont know why he decommitted from FSU. i'll keep my ear to the ground.
