Anyone feel like there are going to be one or two guys that are on that "far-fetched" wish list of recruits that will be signing day surprises? My feeling is if it can happen to Ole Miss it will happen to us. I'll throw out Garrett and Jackson (I'd lean more towards Garrett being here). I just feel like this class is special already---we are going to have a wild finish---I'm pumped for football!!!

DT Sawyers committed to Vandy today. Sorry to bring bad news. Hope we can reel in a couple this class, we sure need them.

no we dont. would have been nice to have, but we dont NEED him. he was lower on our board IMO.

I would personally rather have Ford, Lambert, Barnett, Mosley, and there are others, but we are in the top 2 for the 4 that I listed

I'll wait to see how it all plays out before I decide if we "needed" him or not. If we come up short again on the DL come NSD, he would have been much needed. JMO

I wouldn't say we NEEDED him, I've seen him play. Perhaps Sawyers verbally committed to vandie because he knows something we don't???? Plus it's only July....who knows what will happen come Feb.

Perhaps he changes his mind like if vandie catches a lot of heat and ncaa sanctions of the brutal raping of an innocent woman. If he does I say we take him on signing day only if we miss on Ford and the others we want and NEED......

Barnett, Lambert, Lambin, Mosley, Elam, and Humphries all say we could do better than Sawyer.

Forgot to mention Poona. We'll def end up with 3 DTs in this class.

If we get to a bowl game and win then I believe we will see a few big surprises. That would put us with at least 7 wins after the bowl win.

Man that just totally sucks. And it sucks for the kids that get fooled into vandy as well. Franklin has made the most out of what he's had and made them somewhat relevant, but long term they'll never compete with us. I believe butch is going to return us to our rightful place. And if he's not they guy, he'll eventually get replaced until we get the right coaching staff in place. We will eventually be back. In the case of vandy, there is no back for them. There's only so far Franklin, or anybody else they hire will ever take them. Eventually Franklin will either see that and take a better job while he's on a roll, or he'll stay too long and end up right back where he started with them...about the third best program in tennessee. I'm really not trying to just totally hate but a pig with lipstick on is still a pig correct?
