As of right now (01/14/2020), we are 17th on the 247 Composite, and T-16th on Rivals.

i don't think we're gonna see too much movement, even adding Hardy and Beckwith, that gets in the 11/12 area.

could maybe sneak in to the top ten if we got those two + Wideman....

so i don't think at the end of the day there's going to be a ton of difference made betwen being 8th/9th or 11th/12th....

same basic rank as last year's classs, but top to to bottom i would be one that would tell you this class is probably deeper...last year's class was just better at the top.

In today’s world we need another composite that measures stars on ALL initial counters in a class Velus and Cade have value too. These are as verifiable as unsigned commits from HS & JUCO.

Fwiw, 247 already does re-rate most big transfers. Such as Solomon, he was rerated a 95 and Gibbs an 87. You can add them manually to get an accurate class ranking.

Only thing lacking is a service creating an all-inclusive ranking. 247 was supposed to release this at some point...nothing yet afaik.

247 was supposed to be doing this. They got far enough to rerank transfers, but never released team rankings.

My workaround is to fill in comps for transfers and do the same for teams 5-10 spots behind us to see if anyone jumps us, and go with that.

Throw the rankings out the window this year. No way these pencil pushers can accurately rate these kids with no spring practices, summer camps, and maybe not even a fall season. This is all going to be about a staff’s ability to evaluate junior tape and relationships with high school coaches.
