Its hard not to star gaze at times, but I always try to remind myself that rankings are just people's best guesses on how some kids will turn out...sometimes they're right, sometimes they're wrong.

Very true. I always look at rankings as potential to do well at the next level. Nothing is guaranteed with any of these kids.

It helps not to star gaze as much and simply look at a kid's film/measurables. Also helps to look at the offers he has and trust that the coaches and their recruiters see what they like.

When it comes to actually scouting services a lot of it comes down to a person making an educated guess on a player.

5th on rivals 7th on 247 (within striking of 3rd) after km commitment!!!

Scout we moved to 8th so here is the big 3 (sorry espn but you rated km the lowest)

Rivals-5th
247- 7th

Also, most services only count 20. This means that after a few more commits we will move up faster. We got the best kicker, but they are always ranked low so he will be the first to slide out, etc. Will average a top 5 class when it is all over on nsd.

Read somewhere they didn't have reps at the Opening either, which is laughable! And Kahlil dropped 20 spots on the Rivals250 due to a technical glitch. Must have an auto-correction function whenever a recruit commits to us.
