How many more TE's do we take for this class?

I know it's early, but it's nice to see our team near the top of a list. We don't have to scroll and scroll to find the power T! Hope we can keep this up close on these guys and add some more.

When was the last time we had 8 commitments 10 months before signing day?

Also, with these 8 after final rankings are released we would have (2) 5*, (5) 4*, and (1) 3*.

Thanks Freak! UT has traditionally be a slow starter and fast finisher in recruiting. I can't rember a year when we've done so well so early, and I've been following the Vols for 55 years. Makes me kind of wish for an early signing period in football like basketball has.

I just hope we can win all of the games that we are supposed to win this upcoming season and maybe one or two games that we are not favored to win.

If we fall on our face this season, we may lose some of our committed recruits...

These "rankings" are exciting and all, but people need to keep things in perspective. I know as a fan base we are starving for any level of success, but we've got to remember signings day is a LONG way away. You gotta know other coaches from big time programs are going to stay in these kid's ears. I TRUELY hope and pray we land each verbal committment and more....but don't be surprised if we lose one or two. Just saying. GO VOLS....and keep'em coming!!!

I compare it to an engagement with the wedding a year away lol. Usually it happens no problem, but everyone knows of the few times it doesn't. They have a ring on their finger, just haven't taken their vows.

It all starts with recruiting and the Big Orange with its new coach has come out of the gates fast. I know its early, but we are ahead of a lot of good teams. I would rather be out front than behind.

They have us at #5 behind Texas, A&M, Fla and FSU.

They rank Hurd as a 5* #16 in the country and have Vic as #103, 2nd rated prospect in Tenn.

247 now has us at 4th after the Lawrence Lee commit. Cant wait to see what next weekend has in store for Volnation!

Ole' Miss has the same number of commits as us but are a whole 200 points behind...guess they started out with the bottom end spectrum of commits
