Can you tweet names of recruits to the coaches?
If you can, would this be the best and quickest way to notify UT coaches about prospects? And if we can then everyone should be sending tweets.........:peace2:

you can tweet coaches but I would think we're in trouble if the coaches need help from the fans to identify prospects

Generally if the coaches haven't noticed a particular player, and their high school coach is worth anything. He will email/mail a highlight reel to get him noticed. Our view as fans are appreciated but really are not held that high in regard.

I understand what your saying, I'm just talking about somebody under the radar, someone you've seen in person and wondering why no one is recruiting this kid...
Just asking.....:hi:

so you think the coaches find all the talent out there or is some over looked.

I think that some random guy watching HS football and thinking he's found some amazing diamond in the rough player is very unlikely.

Might of been a huge benefit to Doofus. On the other hand he wouldn't tweeted back "blah blah school already has him locked up".

I understand the thought process but just because a kid you've seen play s dominant against his competition doesn't immediately make him a stud or worthy of being in the SEC. I've seen several kids in my area that were heads and shoulders above the kids they played against but sadly the competition level in my area is very low. When these same kids were invited to all star games and such they were quickly proven to be bad to mediocre at best.
Its not all about how dominant a player is against his competition. Its about how they compete when they actually go against top compettion. Example: A RB starts a season and runs for 200+ yds and 3+ tds a game for the majority of his season. Well with those stats for most of his games it would seem the kid is a stud and could be a huge get for us. Well what isn't noticed by the casual fan but matters the most is the 1-2 games he faced equal or better comp and did next to nothing or just had an average game. Or when he hit the state finals or all star games and again did next to nothing or was mediocre at best. The casual fan would say this kid is a beast and just had a coupe of bad games. The trained, seasoned scout would know right away that this kid simply beat-up on subpar comp or was benefiting from his team being that much better than their comp. And this is what we are seeing most f the time when us casual fans think we find a kid that is being overlooked. Chances are the scouts and recruiters know all about him and know exactly why he looks so good when we see him and they also know that when all the advantages are removed that the kid can't carry his own weight let alone carry or even benefit an SEC team.
