I'm really hoping Barnes can pull some big time athletes here, especially this go around. I know 2016 is critical but if they want ANY kind of success this year then they need at least one or two eary contributors.
@hoopseen: LIVE on #Periscope: Talking w/ 2016 stud Romello White. https://t.co/8rv1VtAths
@hoopseen: First ever recruiting scoop on @periscopeco? Romello White tells us he's scheduled to speak with new Tennessee coach Rick Barnes tomorrow.
Just thought I'd pass this along.
On that list one guy I think they'll go hard after is Kasongo. Texas wasn't doing a lot of juco recruiting if any--especially with guards--to my knowledge so going to have to do a lot of evaluation on those guys. I certainly think they'll reach out to Thorne as will most everyone else. I am asking around on Sulaimon, obviously there's some background work to be done there I guess but I would think there are some Texas connections with him.
Would be the third straight year Pastner runs off a Memphis player that Tennessee picks up (Antonio Barton > Dominic Woodson > Nick King). Memphis locals must be getting tired of that crap.Galilee on TOS is saying Nick King will transfer to Tenn. Tifwiw

Also, Nick King would have to sit out a year and would be eligible to play in 2016-17.
Nope. Unfortunately. Nick King would be a great player to have in the 2016-17 season and would be a solid replacement for Reese/Moore. A guy we definitely want if he can develop more as a player and become more polished. The potential for King to develop into a big-time player is there, even Memphis fans can agree, but since Memphis is bring in the Lawsons, they might not care as much.Run off rule apply? Or would King be leaving on his own?
