If we are losing both Cofer and Austin then Tyndall better be ready to recruit like heck or our class goes from good to bad very quickly

counzo couldn't recruit so it shouldn't be any big loss to lose an entire recruiting class. Plus whichever players leave the program aren't any good because counzo recruited them. 4 years from now we won't have to have a senior night.

Who knows, maybe Tyndall has already talked to Matt Carlino, Justin Martin, Octavius Ellis, Devonta Pollard and Jaysean Paige and they've all told him they're on board. Lol

I don't get Austin.

And not wanting Cofer (if true) would be about as dumb as it gets.

Yeah that's not possible! That's crazier than saying he is flippantly and hazardously cutting ties with these recruits with no plan at all because he caught
them checking out his hot fiance... Yeah that is much more believable than him actually having a plan.

Yeah, you never know....he could have a plan rather than just being an evil genius that was planted by Calipari to make sure we never get back. BTW I totally believe Dooley was a sleeper cell sent here by Saban, then activated to destroy UT football from within. :whistling:

So just to be clear, so that I am understanding you correctly. You think that informing high school seniors that are not members of the team to go elsewhere is the same as coming in a dismissing active members of the team? You think in terms of the players remaining on the roster, that they would go over the same in both circumstances?

That's not what I said. What I'm saying is I think there are sec level players in the signing class who fit his system. I also think there's guys on the current roster who don't fit his system and aren't SEC level players. If you're wanting to make room for a few guys you've got your eye on, wouldn't it be in the best interest of the program to part with the guys who aren't SEC level and don't fit your system?

And that is exactly what I just asked you. You think dismissing current players and replacing them with the players he wants to bring in (you know that whole 'plan' thing you think he doesn't have) is better than replacing commits that are not members of the team yet? I think from team chemistry/morale that you can sell them on replacing commits that are not even members of the team yet. I think coming in and right away cutting bait with current players to bring in other players would not go over well.

I think fielding the team with the best chance to succeed is his job...if that means cutting a couple guys on the team who don't fit his plan and aren't talented enough to play at this level to make room for guys who do fit his style and are talented enough to play at this level, then so be it.

I see people continue to allude to this. Do you not think there was a difference in how talented Martin's players were compared to Tyndall's players? What is the difference in their two offenses when it comes to shot attempts/possessions per game. That would be a more accurate stat. Does anybody have that info?

I'm assuming there will be some guys who are on the current roster who will be released too . Am I wrong in assuming this ?
