I'm nervous about this game.

We should roll them, but there is just so much on the line and we will certainly get Vandy's A game.

A couple of bad turnovers or lucky plays for them and it might not be the blowout so many are predicting.

Watching this Miss St vs Vandy game on SECN right now. I fully expect to see Hurd make it to the 3rd level a few times.

95% chance we win. If Dobbs goes down in the first drive or in warmups, that may drop to 65%. But we're gonna win. Vandy is just awful this year.

Vandy's A game = 17 point Vol victory

This team will come out playing mad Saturday IMO. There is too much ammunition...Vandy trying to talk down to us by not mentioning our name, and the news about EB. Hope we wear some kind of patch to show support for EB. How awesome would it be that, instead of the players' last names, we have #BerryStrong on the back of everyone's jerseys? I fully expect this team to roll Saturday, as long as there are no serious injuries early.

Vandy is the worst team we've played this year. Will be the worst team we've played since Austin Peay last year. In fact, I think the Governors could give them a run for their money on a neutral field.

No way we lose this game. Even if we came out flat, we can accidentally beat them on sheer talent advantage alone.

I think our boys come out ready for blood and Hurd has an enormous day in front of the home crowd.

Only a little nervous for the first half. Vandy will come strong. But UT's offense and defense will overpower them and the BEATDOWN will commence throughout the second half. Vandy has zero depth and nothing to play for. The Vols obviously do and will handle them. Then we go bowling! Finally!

You need to exercise the Dooleys out of your head. This team will not lose to Candy. There were a few people that were nervous about the UK game too, and we see how that turned out, and UK is much better than Candy.

Vols by 40!!!

And then about halfway through the third UT will have a shutout going until Justin Coleman goes all:

.

And gives up a long TD pass.

I got a pretty big laugh out of this :)

Which brings up another question, to me at least. Does it matter by how much, in terms of public perception, bowl invitations, recruiting, etc.?

Does a 30-point blowout have the same residual effect as does a 10-point win?

I hate Vandy..... my perfect senerio would be...

Vols drop 50+ points on them by end of the 3rd quarter.

We put in the walk-ons and add 24 points in the 4th quarter... no fieldgoal, Butch goes for the 2 point conversion on the last 3 TDs.

Last seconds we line up in the Victory formation, fake the kneeldown and hit (the sandy haired kid that brings the water out during timeouts) on a wheel route for another 60+ yard TD.

Vol fans all get up and quietly in an orderly fashion walk on to the field and pull down the goal posts....

Slive fines Vandy for accessive celebration.

Tickets for this game are insane at the moment.

I really, REALLY don't want to drive to Nashville without tickets in hand, but that's looking more and more likely.

Rofl, I never thought about vandy getting fined for UT fans tearing down their goalposts.

Ouch! That's mean. I hope JC has a pick 6 in his last regular season game.

Me too. JC is just not very good in man to man coverage though. I think he would be pretty good in a Tampa 2 type zone defense. He is a pretty good tackler when he don't have to try and run them down.

I do too. I hope he has more than one.

He will likely be responsible for at least one touchdown in the game. I'd prefer it to be for the orange team.

Mason refusing to call Tennessee by their name.

Yeah, that should end nicely, like Walter White meeting that guy in the desert near the end of Breaking Bad.

"Say my name ..."

Mason doing the "can't say Tennessee" thing reminds me of the great Gerry DiNardo that coached there in the early 1990's who never learned to say it either.
He lost four consecutive games to the team from the east.
1991 = 45-0
1992 = 29-25
1993 = 62-14
1994 = 65-0
