Freak, maybe it's a little early, but I was hoping we could use this thread to discuss the Alabama game, and of course, live during game day. If it's premature, nuke it. :hi:

Dooley's job security speculation can be found in every other thread on this board. For the love of all that is good and orange... please leave that at the door and don't bring it into this thread. Alabama game only!

Go Vols! Beat Bama!!

No reason we can't beat them. We "could" have beat some of the other top 2-12 in the country. Only people who can't see it don't know football.

Good work Nick. By Friday, I will have myself convinced we will beat Bama. I'm almost there, and it's only Monday.

Well, if this is gonna be official Bama thread I want to post this here....Volnation, I get it....everyone is disgusted with the coaches, and as season goes on I tend to agree with most...However, it bothers me that I been seeing people post about there will be more crimson than orange in the stands Saturday and that will send a message to Hart...The only message that sends in my opinion is that Volnation needs a change just as bad as the coaching situation....If Saturday night, I turn on the TV and see more Crimson than Orange it will be a Complete disgrace! Dont support the coaches fine, but folks it is our objective as fans to give those players out there our full support...I challenge Volnation to show up in full force, and rock Neyland Stadium like never before...Show ur support folks! On top of that if you dont want to go, give me your tickets and I will gladly go...That being said, Go Vols!!!!!:peace2:

Our defense couldn't stop a granny with a walker. What makes you think they can stop the best power running team in the country?

There comes a time where things turn around, for better or for worse. I choose to believe we are gonna turn some things around on Saturday... cause life kinda sucks when you just itch and moan.

If our D can pull it together long enough to force Bama to be unbalanced, I see no reason why we couldn't win.

No argument there. I'll hope for a win like crazy, but I won't hold my breath. The defense seems to have gotten worse week by week.

Our defense is much better suited to stop a power running game as opposed to an offense like akron. Aj Johnson and the rest of our D had a very good first half against Bama last year holding them to six points before falling apart in the second half due to lack of offensive support (aka Simms and Poole). Last week we held MSU to signifigantly less yards per carry than their season average, and if we can do the same this week and force McCarron to win the game rather than manage the game we have a chance.

I can see where you're coming from. The biggest problem I see with Alabama is their play action. I just don't feel good about it. I think it will be there any time they want it.

Got it. We can only talk about how "we gone whip day azz" in this thread. Sorry. I'll get back on topic. I think Dooley is a damn fine genius and Saban a dummy that can't coach a cat to use the litter box. There, was that better?

Is this the "Official: Everyone state what they hope happens during the Alabama game thread" thread? Of course I want to win. How am I out of order in explaining why I believe we don't have a snowball's chance in hell? I think some people are just looking for a fight against someone they deem "not a true fan".
