It would have to be. He’s making 6.5 at ESPN. He’s not going to leave that much money unless it’s substantially more. Or the rumors that ESPN is cutting him is true.

You buying this Beaver stuff at all? I'll still have to see it to believe it. Until then, I'll assume one of Mullen, Frost or Brohm will be our next head coach.

In other words, why is it the admins fault? Obviously, I think all of the Gruden stuff is silly, but I also think we have some looney tunes in this fan base that just have to point the finger at someone to blame. For example, calling for Currie's job right now is just nonsense.

That’s definitely possible. But even LWS and Hubbs acknowledged they’re going after Gruden behind the scenes. Sure it might not happen for one reason or another. So what’s so silly?

Yet, he’s still employed. In retrospect, I wonder if the issue was more of a clash in offensive philosophy with Fulmer that was never resolved until Sanders was asked to fall on the sword.

This is the best bet.

I have no doubt they're talking to Jon Gruden. But they give themselves away as trolls when they start the "it's done", "he's interviewing possible staff members", "his wife loves Dollywood", etc.

Sanders is an OK QB coach but an awful OC. He’s also working under a top 3 QB developer in Football so I’m not sure what or how big his actual role in that offense is.

So who are the reality "insiders" that can confirm that?

The rest of that is irrelevant if they make a good hire. History hasn't spoken well to that.

Kind of funny nobody pays attention to post like this from someone that has had some info this year because it's not about Gruden but believe any body that has a Grumor that just randomly shows up with beavers and Nugs and plugs and what not

He loves the attention in the moment and then afterwards makes it clear he was never really interested. It's happened after every job he's ever rumored to be "in talks" for.

Sure, all this stuff is irrelevant if the hire is right. Hell, it's message board fodder weeks before an actual job may even be open - chances are it's all irrelevant.

Agreed. Somebody said something about Fulmer being pretty high on Frost, and could be a reason behind him being one of the top candidates. I hope that's right.

Is his buyout as ridiculous as what everybody says it is? If it's not I could totally see him leaving FSU for Tennessee. I think he might want out of there.

I really have no clue who is gonna be the next HC. I just have some friends at MS because I interned there when croom was the coach and some are still around. They say that They fear Mullen would take TN job especially since our practice facility is getting even more revamped. Now we will have basically 4 practice fields and can host bigger camps.

I really don’t know. I think it’s a hard pull now that he is getting more donor support which lead to new indoor facility but if he’s unhappy you would have to think this tough year is only making that worse.
