Guy in the Gruden thread that has said deal with Gruden is complete just had his bona fides confirmed by a known insider.

Personally I think we’re being trolled, epically. Will love the taste of crow if I’m wrong.

I don’t buy MIT being legit and Gruden coming, but he is damn convincing though.

Agreed. We don’t get to have much excitement and fun to look forward to as Vol fans. Who knows the real chances Gruden would even come here but let us have our fun while we can.

No, this is supposed to be someone different. The last time supposedly Gruden was contacting that coach to have him on his staff as a liaison for high school coaches.

Hargis from the Chattanooga Times got it from a high school coach. He apparently was at lunch with the coach when Gruden called to gauge interest for an administrative position.

Stephen Harris was sitting in Vic Grider’s office when he took a call about being a high school liaison for Gruden. That was where his story was born for the TFP.
