Anyone that was surprised Butch is still around wasn’t listening and had false expectations.

This AD won’t operate like that.

He could lose to Kentucky and still coach the week after.

This AD has a plan and he is executing it.

It isn’t on your timetable or with knee-jerk reactions.

Care to elaborate on the plan?

With Mac getting death threats at UF that can’t make their fan base look good. If he leaves they will still somehow get a home run hire. SMDH.

Will be Frost if we don't get him. We'll somehow turn our nose up at Frost while we bring in Mike Bobo because he has SEC experience. Frost will then in turn dominate Tennessee for 15 years.

Watch them fire Mac at the end of the season and immediately hire Frost. Meanwhile, Currie is still on his "timetable plan" or whatever he is waiting on and we end up with Bobo or Satterfield.

I legitimately worry what the backlash would look like from the fanbase.

the university of dysfunction.

Opposing posters should reconsider attacking those that express their frustration with currie and the boosters response to this football travesty. As fans they have earned the right to express their opinion as much as they want imo.

When a coach's voice is no longer being heard, there's a better chance a team will rally around someone else. If the players were going to rally around CBJ, they could have done it after UF... after UMass... after UGA... or after SCAR. They're tuning him out. Either they'll come together and win for each other or they won't.

Dont worry guys, Butch is being given the opportunity to hang himself and he surely will. I see no way we win 3 more times.

I'm skeptical of the "won't work in the SEC" viewpoint. We all said the same thing about Urban Meyer and Florida, and he beat the stuffing out of just about everyone, and is still beating just about everyone.

If you get good players and you coach them up, that scheme will work.
I'm not saying it won't work. Just think it would have to be coached up really well. I'm on the Frost train. I trust that he would make whatever adjustments would be necessary to make it work

My friends birthday is this weekend and we always do a birthday/Halloween mash up. I think I figured out my costume this year:

I’m gonna wear my UT polo, khakis, brown shoes, buy a fake coaches headset and wear a fire me sign from my neck. I will also only speak in coaching cliches all night.

From Callahan: Butch Jones says he has not thought about changing play-callers. He said the #Vols' offensive issues are "an execution-type deal."

Lol

I tend to agree with that statement. I've seen plenty of wide open passes dropped all year. Stupid penalties when we're on the goal line. There is no discipline. I almost believe guys are screwing up just to make Butch look bad. A hand full of them probably don't want him here anymore. That's just what I see.

Blocking scheme looks complicated. I could see it getting blown up in the SEC if not ran to perfection. Would probably take a year to get implemented.

This is what is wrong with Butch's run scheme. There is next to no counter action anymore. The better running spreads still trap and counter out of the shotgun. Motion adds to the action. Then RB's can cut back against the grain. Without it, how can you expect an RPO to ever work more than once as a surprise?

If I was a conspiracy theorist I could easily believe he is intentionally tanking it all to get out because the answers to the issues are right out in the open.

At this point I’m just ready for someone different. It’s gonna be so refreshing to not have to hear all the butchisms or have butch worry about what graphics are in the complex during the Florida week.

I won't post it outloud because i don't want weirdos facebook stalking who he thinks it is but if you can add and google he believes he named the Beav.

My 2 cents:

VC reopened to investment in 2016. The Beav has roots to Nooga and is a high level guy with VC. He has no direct ties to UT but is a member at the prestigous Nooga CC. Thunder or some large booster bought into VC by way of Beav. Gruden's deal and or Butch's buyout will be partially financed through these options/shares. The Beav and or Bubba are all part of it.

What/Who is VC?
