I think the D is gonna bring it from every angle and Grier will be forced into some bad decisions. I think they hit us for a couple big plays but for the most part are controlled. They won't have much luck running the ball.
I think our OL is improved enought to open up some holes and the run game is fairly successful. I feel whoever the QB is, that he won't be asked to do a whole lot other than limit mistakes and keep the chains moving.
We have as good or better athletes at every position except wr and QB. At most positions I would feel safe saying we have better, way better.
They keep talking about their LB Long, but he is a smaller Lb and I don't think he has enough talent around him to help him. Bituli is his equal or better, but about 25 pounds heavier. Throw Dk, Ignont, and Sapp in the mix and we have the better LB Corp. I think we have the edge in the DL. CB is probably where we are closer to each ither, mainly because our guys with the most potential are young. I hope Pruitt is the difference maker here and we see a lot of improvement. I do know that he likes to play aggressive and press coverage off the line. Maybe we can throw their timing off and slow their passing game.
I think our players have bought in, have been taught and developed more this year than in the last 2 combined. We are bigger than last year and I think the players want to avenge the worst season in UT history.
I try not to make predictions with my heart. My heart says WGWTFA, and we just might.
I still think we control most phases of this game and cause them to make mistakes and turn the ball over. I think we control the LOS on both sides. Our run game and physical style of play is too much for them.
I see it being 34-23 and UT shuts a lot of folks up with this win. We won't be back, but we will be on our way.
