To be fair their line has only given up 14 sacks in 11 games. We just need to dial up an aggressive gameplan. Basically the opposite of what we did against Georgia.

After listening to Cain, interviewed a Vandy guy. Our teams dont line up well. They run misdirection, play defense, and use TE's. Ugh. Just go win.

JMO - We also know all of that and Banks can set the D accordingly. He plans well, he does not adjust during games all that well. Vandy has much more limited options than UGA, who changed their O scheme for us. They have the talent to do it.

While I agree. GA Tech was able to scheme their O. We have the talent to do it. Not playing contrarian, just frustration at lack if innovation.

Haynes King has played a lot more football than Nico.

Nico: 175 passing yards, 3 TD, 1 rushing TD
Sampson: 100 yards rushing, 2 TDs
Bru: 100 receiving, 1 TD
Brazzell: 50 yards receiving, 1 TD
Thornton: 50 yards receiving, 1 TD

If you look at both teams statistically we are a very bad matchup for them. I don’t think they can get to 20 points on our defense. They basically shorten the game and rely on opponents mistakes to be in the game in the 4th quarter. We have got to avoid our slow start and Nico has to be patient and hit the simple throws. I say Vols pull away late:

Vols- 27
Andy- 13

that's what some of us are worried about... his lack of being able to do this at times this season. If Vandy comes out and plays different, he doesn't seem to know how or be willing to adjust.

At times? You mean 1 time - UGA game. Just a reminder it’s the only time the defense has given up 20 points all season.

Nope, several games... just because we won a game, doesn't mean we didn't struggle/not adjust. But you always have something to say...

We didn’t just win those other games, we held their offenses to 19 points or less. That’s good no matter how you try and parse it.

This idea that you can stop an opposing team (also filled with scholarship athletes and coaches that get paid millions bc they’re at the near top of their profession) from doing some good things during a game is absurd.

The defense has been spectacular sans the UGA game.
