The game is over at that point. All the coaches care about is getting guys in and getting them reps.

UAB had their 1’s in the whole game and started stat padding in the 4th when we had freshman and walk-ons in the game.

Not miserable, the original point was our secondary remains a serious issue year in, year out and we have to address to have an excellent team. Chalk it up how you like, the issues are still present.

Not miserable, the original point was our secondary remains a serious issue year in, year out and we have to address to have an excellent team. Chalk it up how you like, the issues are still present.

We were 7th in the country last year in pass defense, not sure how you can expect much better? Not so sure about the “year in, year out”

We don’t have our 1st round draft pick and another potential draft pick at CB because of injuries, of course we are going to struggle early on

You think UGA has over 500+ yards and 56 points in buy games? Nope. They beat an FCS team this year 28-6. Since 2021, UGA has only scored 50+ points in 3 of 11 “buy games.”

In 2023, they beat a 1-2 UAB team 49-21. That vaunted UGA defense gave up 32/51 for 250 yards. That team went 13-1.

In 2022, they beat Kent State 39-22. UGA went 15-0 while Kent went 5-7. How dare UGA give up 22 points!

Can’t spell it out more clearly- who cares when you start playing true freshman and don’t care about the final score.

Our defense won us games last year. Your narrative is just wrong. We didn’t score in the first half several times last year. Went 10-2. Defense was phenomenal.

You think GAs D gives that up to this team regardless of who is in. If so, we don’t deserve to ever compete with them every year. It’s excellence or it’s not, some of you don’t want a national title by your comments.

And there it is. If you understand that we aren’t on uga, osu level of talent yet and there will be a drop off from the first to 3rd team players, CLEARLY means you just don’t want a national title.

Its so stupid for both teams to stop playing and run the clock out in the 4th. Glad Trent Dilfer was still being aggressive. Especially when so many people complain about how bad these games are. Just keep playing people.

This is the problem with thread that go on for multiple, folks miss the original pieces. Defense this year is not champ level, go back and I said Banks and Martinez both benefited from an amazing D Line and a lock down corner last year. It was not superior scheme. Also several of those offenses were inept.
