Through eleven games, it looks like the offense is averaging almost 214 yards rushing (4.6 per carry) vs. 146 (3.6 per carry) in 2014.
Passing average is down by 24 yards per game (tonight's effort put a dent in the numbers). But the ground game is making up for it.
Small steps, but hopefully in the right direction.
Lord knows I am not afraid to point out holes but that game thread was eye opening. I thought most posters here in this forum were pretty reasonable knowledgable folks. I no longer feel that way

Good stuff there
How do PTs compare?
Hope I'm answering your question with the following:
2014 2015
Pts/Game: 28.9 32.6
Pass TDs/Game: 1.77 1.4
Rush TDs/Game: 1.54 2.2
FGs/Game 1.54 1.55
A separate interesting stat...
Average number of sacks per game is down from 2.7 in 2014 to 2 this season. However, the average number of sacks allowed per game has dropped from 3.3 to 1.9.
That sacks allowed stat really stands out. I think we need to cut Mahoney some slack. We could have a great OL next year.Hope I'm answering your question with the following:

I think next week looks similar to today. Vandy can't score.
Depends on how much better one thinks Dobbs makes the OL look. IMO Dobbs is the difference In everything good this year and the OL is very close to the same as it was JW was getting killed
Butch has gotta be feeling pretty good right now.
Extremely winnable game next week, and with a month of rest, we will likely handle any bowl opponent we get at 8-4. Once again our bowl game will essentially be a preview of what's to come next year, as an entire season of experience will add up for the young guys and they'll have a full month to absorb what they've learned over the past 12 games.
