'25 Recruiting forum: Official Georgia vs Tennessee Pre-game/Game Thread

They are loaded....loaded with talent, and unless Stockton just had a AR15 moment, they got a good QB...it wouldn't shock me for him to completely đź’© the bed from here on out...such is our luck.
I think the guy is a pretty good QB when he has time to throw. Hopefully he throws several picks in their big games and UGA goes like 8-4 lol. F the Dawgs, but we showed a lot of good things yesterday so maybe this season will still be a really good one.

I think Redmond is going to be great down the road...the poor kid should have never seen the field this year except in cupcake games and in mop up time. I know he is probably upset and feels responsible for a lot of what happened...but he shouldn't.

I just cannot blame the kid for not being ready yet to play against elite teams...he shouldn't be out there.
100% he’s tall for a cb with a big wingspan and really fast. Just has to learn the position and defense. A few of the big plays he let happen he wasn’t sure where he was supposed to lineup. But then he made key plays like the one where he blew up the screen when UGA was driving down the field. He just needs time but sadly doesn’t have any.

It is actually very encouraging to see him playing as well as he is..somebody over there is doing good work.

He shouldn't even be on the field yet....maybe even redshirting.

This one, too, was rather conspicuous.
Boo Carter was dragged to the turf and a TD was scored.

They called Lance Heard for doing the exact same thing earlier in the game. Pulled the defender down, face first, by his jersey.

*The SEC is corrupt and most officials hate the VOLS. The league office needs to be moved as far away from Birmingham as possible. Fire any referees that have anything to do with any school in the conference and hire some integrity..... if possible. The ref yesterday, Steve Marlowe, lives and works in Birmingham and head official, David Smith, was QB and team captain for Alabama. He's reffed some of our biggest games/losses too. They should never be able to officiate TN or Auburn or LSU games because of the rivalries. I don't know why some people don't understand the hatred between teams in the SEC and alumni/fans from the league shouldn’t be hired to officiate in conference games.

Even more infuriating that you have external forces from McCoy’s side telling him he should sit out for the draft.

Hes a top 10 pick, right now, if he goes out there and re-injured his knee or doesn’t have all of his abilities, his stock plummets.
fans may not understand and be “infuriated” but the kids dream is about to be realized in a few more months.

The highest paid CB contract is $120M, the 30th highest paid is $30Million.
if he sits out, I get it

That’s not a bug for the people in charge. It’s a feature.

This is the unfortunate (for us) truth.

Although personally I don’t think he sits out

Don’t disagree, but to me, he forfeits any NIL if he sits.
