I ate at the Copper Cellar when I went down for the OM game. Had thought about it for a few trips, but always expected it to be much more expensive then it was. But food was really good and price was reasonable ish. When we got our name on the list it took about an hour to get a table. So I will be at the game Saturday. Should be a fun time.
Coming up Friday morning. Any recommendations on places to eat or places to stop by for some swag?
If it’s close going into the 4th then that stadium will be bonkers. If the Vols keep it close and have momentum going into the fourth, the Dawgs and Kirby may crumble under the pressure. Gonna take a lot of points, and we have to sustain drives instead of 30 second 3-N-Outs.
Just gonna enjoy the game![]()
We have no RBs that can pass protect worth a darn. Woulda had to have our run game at 100% to have a puncher’s chance against this D. They’ll stop the pass and shut us down I’m afraid. Had it 48-17 Dawgs right after the UK win but think it may be worse than that. If we can’t score quick through the air (1-4 plays) then I don’t think we’ll be able to sustain drives without a legit back thus wearing down our D for a 2nd straight game. Everyone should put on their protective cup and brace for impact.Doesn’t sound like Tiyon is a go for us this weekend.
Love to get to use this gif. It’s no secret the bulldogs can be a very unhealthy breed of dog. The laundry list of Bulldog health problems goes on for days.
In the 18th Century when bulldogs were used for Bull-baiting, they were extremely strong and healthy work dogs. They were bred to herd live stock and sedate a bull by grabbing the bull by the nose and bringing it down.
It would take a strong, athletic dog to perform that duty. No breathing problems, no heat exhaustion, no exercise restrictions.
In fact, they were expected to work much of the day. This is a far cry from the bulldogs we see today. Now bulldogs are laden with health issues.
What are common bulldog health problems? Many of the Bulldogs health issues are due to extreme selective breeding practices from the 18th century. Here is a list of the most common bulldog health issues.
- Hip dysplasia
- High rate of cancer
- Skin and food allergies
- Respiratory conditions
- Cherry Eye
- Cataracts
- Heart disease
- Arthritis
Smokey gonna whip that fat ass.
I was at that game. :/I have been thinking about it this morning, and I get the feeling of a similar game tomorrow as the Georgia game in 2013, Butch’s first year. We should not have been in that game either and we hung around, blocked a punt for a touchdown, and took them into overtime. Obviously, we all remember what happened, but I think we turn the tides tomorrow and win it late or in overtime. I am going to be back in Tennessee and watch it with my dad. I vividly remember the last couple of games that I watch with him… One was the 2014 South Carolina game that we won late and the other was the Vanderbilt game that we intercepted the pass in overtime to win it. That may have been Dooley in 2010?
