Come on Vols4us, catching the ball is something you learn as a kid. I understand if you are talking about going and getting the ball, but these have been wide open drops. This is football 101 that these guys learn early in life.

C'mon VolGee4 - there is a difference in actively catching the ball with your hands and letting ball fall into your hands and grasping it. There is a reason they stand 5-10 yards away from the gun and catch the ball at every major program in practice.

Soft and off target throws have to be snatched actively. These catching methods are taught in practice.

This game is 21-17 if the players just make the plays in front of them. The defense is getting roasted and there are still plenty of things about the offensive scheme that I don't like, but players absolutely need to make plays.
