I was at that game with UGA. The Willie Martinez defense looked like they had never even heard of a play action bootleg, much less seen one. It was open all day.

One series of Maurer isnt enough to declare that. especially a drive that started 15 back, two runs and long 3rd down. I'd like to see a a few more drives from Maurer before I decide that

Open over the middle. He threw into double coverage. Got lucky with the defender falling

As someone said, I think the defender leaped to attemp to tackle Callaway. The throw would have been decent even with coverage.

Honestly feels like the KO return have them juice. Football is a game of momentum.

Maurer was in there one series. Hard to judge that. If we did judge a quarterback by their first series/game, Manning would've been trash lol
