I have a hard time seeing how the Vols can win this one.
Joe having one great game...finally. It really is that simple, but I know it feels impossible at this point....but even JG had a few really good games...so 🤷‍♂️

I mean even if we run wild like last week...it doesn't mean we will score very much...like last week....but if Joe and the recievers could open it up....we could and would whip their arse.

My confidence in Joe flipping the switch is pretty low. WRs have disappointed as well. Joe and those guys will have to show out. Can they? Sure. Will they? I've got to see it to believe it.

I have two ways this could go in my mind...

#1..They beat us 23-27ish to 10-13ish because of corrupt garbage penalties and actual real pre-snap procedure penalties, and the passing game sucking once again because Joe misses or the recievers drop.

#2...Joe finally having "that" game of his life(you know...the one that every freaking QB I've ever seen has at least one freaking time in their career) and opening up the whole offense and we win 35ish-23ish.
Let’s go with the latter. I like that much better.

If we are going to win this game, we will need to see the best game we’ve had yet this year through the air. Bama has a good run defense and will sell out stopping the run, pair that with their explosive offense. And don’t get me started on how bad the officiating will be Saturday. Until Milton can prove he can win us a game through the air, I dont see us winning a game like this.

Not even going there predicting this one. Totally clueless with our QB/WR/O play calling situation. Hope for a W, not surprised if a L.

Just beat Kensucky.
Definitely lost on this one.

Felt the same last week but figured Neyland was the x-factor. Which is why my brain says Bammers in a tight one due to our mistakes.

But eff it

Vols 31
Bama 30

Bama with the desperate 2 pt conversion to take the lead with a demolished and battered team. Joe hits his first deep ball with less than a minute left and another legend is made with the final kick. But this time nobody tips it...no whobbler...no mount cody...just crushes it leaving no doubt.

Saban retires at year-end.

All the words in the dictionary, and you choose to define Alabama’s offense as EXPLOSIVE. Gotcha.

All we have to do is perform as we should. Even half of that makes tamu a different game.

If the WRs catch the balls they should and Joe makes the throws he should, we should win. He doesn't need anything extravagant. Do. Your. Job. That's it.

A way to have some common blunders and still win is for Joe to keep it 10+ times.

DL doesn't need to play beyond their abilities either.

I think most of this is mental which is an astonishing improvement given the last dozen+ years.

Dee Williams takes another one to the house. Jaylen Wright breaks out for 200 yards rushing. Squirrel puts on a show for his home state. Hadden shuts down Burton, Pearce goes off for his 3rd straight SEC defensive lineman of the week. Eason punks out the interior linemen Memphis style. We make a national statement Saturday.
Vols- 31
Gumps- 17
