Clock should not have been at 1 second. Burton was going backwards out of bounds, lost forward progress. Clock winds.

If he got the first down, clock stops until its set unless Bama took a timeout. I didn't see Bama call a timeout to have the last play but might've missed it.

And of course, holding Pearce. I'd like to believe it would've been called had the sack not happened anyway.

Biggest observations in 1st half:

1. Refs are clearly the best of the best. Flawless execution by them.

2. Just like the fans have said, we definitely need to start Nico in this 2nd half.
