If the only reason you are getting married is to have sex, then you should not get married IMO. If that is a fringe benefit, then so be it. You should get married because you are both ready to commit to unselfishly looking out for the best interests of your spouse over yourself. Selfishness is marriage is not a good recipe.

I'd add a nuance that if among the top (not only) reasons to get married is sexual release, but well said.

Why would anyone get married for sex? It is much easier to have sex as a single man.

I've done a lot worse things to go to purgatory for than just living in sin with a woman out of wedlock... Marriage isn't for everyone, nothing wrong with just living together.

My daughter’s bf tried talking her into moving in together after they graduated college. I put a stop to that and my daughter was mad at me for awhile. She now Thanks me all the time and has met a new man. He is a great guy and they will probably be getting married next summer.

Too many beta males in our society today. Alpha males lead their families and provide the masculine side of the coin that all children need. They need to know that they have a father that cares enough about them to discipline them and teach them the right way to do things. A woman needs a man to step into his role as leader and protector and provider. They don't need a gigantic kid that does the bare minimum for her and then goes and plays video games while she shoulders the bulk of the family load. Men need to be men and stop being little cry baby little weaklings. (right @Ulysees E. McGill ?)
