Recruiting forum off topic thread (merged)

Just jacked an air ball on that one, bud. You have to give CRB the same flexibility as you gave Butch. He has to recruit his roster. No PG and a few minutes from the only center you have that is a true freshman. The forwards are also shorties. This bunch has always been a 13 win team at best.

I know. I want just joking around. I didn't think this team would be this competitive, and actually have a couple of decent wins on their resume. I'm nowhere near being down on them...now, the Lady Vols...that's a whole different story.

There have been a lot of great classics through the years. I always thought it classy that they didn't mess up beautiful tin caps with phony plastic wrap. This stuff probably precipitated more cheap-date sex for college kids and hobos then any other drink genre.

Usually I don't like to contribute to screwing up a thread's intended purpose, but I believe in this case it was warranted.

Freak--Can we move this to the gourmet food section. Right after I finish my Ripple. clapping:

Numbers can seem hard, but really they are not. When properly used they can be your friend.

1 2 3 4 5 - names

If we can take 1 2 3 4 5 people we can take all 1 2 3 4 5 names.

If we can only take 1 2 3 4 people, then 1 of those names will be left off. If names 1 2 3 & 4 say yes, then name 5 is the one left off. If any one of 1 2 3 & 4 say no, then name 5 is in.

See how simple and fun numbers can be. :)

CrunchyLeb be like...

My very first car was a 67 Mustang. Had the 289. Coupe wit a black vinyl top. Factory AC and power steering. My right leg hurts all the time. Sore from me kicking myself in the butt for selling it.

Dad's wanting to go charcoal with the gt stripe.

My first car in 82 was a 75 Monte Carlo..........could fly and had a nice long front and back seat.

To be fair hvwarrior, o+w=h, tclowers, rex etc were more active pre 2008 I didn't realize you were using a specific timeline.

Please for the love to god don't mention LebanonVol we know damn well he's posting again under CrunchingTheVolz.

Yep, hvwarrior was the resident insider when I first started following the RF.

I try to impart on my little angel that if you don't move the steering wheel at all, things are not going to change. :hmm:

Has not worked. But told her if she did not start pulling up to the middle of the driveway and then back up that she would owe me 3 fity to reseed and sod. Seemed to work.

...now all she needs from me is insurance......

Butchna, let me give you and all the parents of soon to be on the road teens. Get them their own insurance policy, do not add them to your policy. If they are on your policy and have an accident you become libel. I found out the hard way. Luckily I had enough to cover with a big umbrella policy on top of my other policy. It will cost more in the kids name, but your property is safe.

Fingers crossed on the daughter driving🙏🏼sent.

My first was a 66 in red with a 289. Eventually replaced it with a 302. Don't drive it anymore but still sitting in the garage.

I stayed at a Holiday Inn last night and I heard Torrance Gibson is transferring from OSU to come play for Butch. Gotta be true cuz I also read it on the Internet.:eek:lol:

Hey guys - posting this in off-topic too and apologies for interrupting recruiting talk, but job is taking me to Atlanta. I know a good number of you are in the area. Looking at areas on the north end of town. Any advice on neighborhoods?

If you can somehow get in touch with Atlanta VOL I'm sure he would have some good advice for you. He may not peruse this particular thread but if you post in the Derrick Brown thread you may catch his attention. I'm sure mods would be fine with the hijack as well since it's for a genuine cause.

Back in the days when you could actually remember who everyone was because it was still a relatively small, tight-knit community.

Freak had another forum before VN I forget what it's name was though. Now that was a small, tight-knit group. I think this was in 2004 and he closed it down after VN got rolling.
