Not Watching but seriously it's a big deal legally now.

Not so funny thing is when some high profile athletes get caught on those new sites. Eligibility lost

Yeah my dad has Alzheimers but people making money picking Todd Gurley as their Flex is a huge issue.

Didn't mean it that way at all but it is a topic for lawmakers

Can you imagine a headline of :

"Josh Dobbs ruled ineligble the last 5 games of season for for thinking he could outsmart the draft kings crowd"

Just don't think it's Presidential Debate material. Also not the forum so my apologies.

Go Vols

It's sports. Tons of other things that are more important.

Didn't say there wasn't and hope I wasn't implying that

I do think the topic of college athletes losing their eligibility playing such games is a huge deal in this thread

It's coming soon from the NCAA. Kids are about to get hit

KCR just made a laugher out of it. Back to our regularly scheduled football programming.

Rubio was Peyton Manning in a room full of Ryan Leafs. Don't know if he can make the ground up but he was very impressive. People don't really want Trump and even though I like Carson, he's too soft spoken and in the forum and debates with Hilary you need a guy like Rubio. Bush won't get elected on name alone and the others will slowly fall off

Don't disagree, but Rubio ain't gonna make it. I think a non politician would do well against Hilary, and the polls are showing Carson dominating vs Hilary better than anyone else.

I think he's going to be the next president, and this is irrespective of my personal politics. I'm not crazy about the Florida Gators so I doubt I could vote for him, but if he's nominated I honestly think he would waltz into the White House.

He won't get out of the primary. I agree he'd win if he did.

The next president will be a democrat. The demographics of the country have changed. The white vote by itself can no longer win a national election and the nativist turn the republican party has taken on immigration will destroy them.

Republicans hate Dobbs, amirite?

Cruz
Jindal (not even in the debate tonight)
Paul
Carson
Rubio
Fiorina

That's my list, in order, at this time. And that's probably all of who I would even vote for. Anybody other than those, and I believe I would go 3rd party/write-in.

Cruz would wipe the floor with Hilary in a debate. And Cruz has an actual proven record of standing for his values and not giving into the lobbyists and the leadership of his own party.

Democrat here: I wouldn't be so sure. I don't particularly like Hillary, but she shows a lot of poise under pressure. I don't know that any of the insurgent Republican candidates have proven they can act presidential. Trump is a blowhard, Carson is insane, and Cruz would rather lose than compromise.

I think Republicans have a shot this cycle, but Carson is leading the pack with 100 days until Iowa. If you are a Republican strategist, that is terrifying.

About standing up for values, the problem with the Republican party as a whole is that the values of the Republican far right (freedom caucus, Tea Party, whatever isn't politically toxic at the moment) doesn't align with the majority of Americans, and those guys are demanding to lead the party.

Why compromise when he's right? Ha!

I think Cruz could and would resonate if he gets the nomination and thus a bigger platform of exposure instead of just the soundbytes the mainstream media wants to use to try to characterize him as a whacko.

But he would resonate because he uses facts. He is articulate. He is fearless. He stands firm on what he says he will do. And most of all, he tells the truth. He doesn't have to be worried about something he said in the past or big issue flip-flops and so on. Because he tells the truth and sticks to it. Which is rare in politics, and it's different than most of the candidates, including a lot of the ones on the stage tonight. And especially including hilary. Who was proven with facts last week to be dishonest and untrustworthy and very lacking in integrity. I'm really not sure how someone informed could vote for her with a clear conscience.
